Overall, Tiamo is described as a stylish, cozy Italian spot with standout wood-fired pizzas and generous, well-prepared dishes like burrata pizza and pasta, while noting that portions and prices can be steep and the space is small and sometimes noisy; service is a mixed bag, ranging from attentive and friendly to slow or inconsistent during busy times, with some visits marred by long waits or hurried pacing, especially on special occasions; many guests still plan to return for the atmosphere and solid food, and reservations are recommended, particularly for dinner.
Phenomenal food & drinks! Love the aesthetic too. Very nice for a relaxing evening outing. Maybe one of the best Italian restaurants in some time. Salute to Amanda for the 10/10 bartending
We visited Tiamo on a weekday evening. Our first impression was positive. The hostess was welcoming & proactive in finding us a table despite our spontaneous visit.
However, service was quite slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes before seeing our server, which felt unusually long & had us considering leaving. Fortunately, we were attended to shortly after.
We ordered the Italian sausage pizza & the Mediterranean pizza. The dough was well-made & met expectations, but the overall experience was mixed. One pizza was enjoyable, while the other was let down by a canned-tasting tomato sauce that lacked depth & flavor.
The ambiance & decor are beautiful, though the space is quite small with tables placed close together. In the evening, the music was fairly loud although still manageable for conversation, but not ideal. The staff interactions felt somewhat robotic & transactional, which took away from the overall experience.
Overall, I likely wouldn't return for dinner, but I'd consider giving it another try during the afternoon. So who would I bring to Tiamo? A casual friend.

The food was great & the vibes were even better. Hantz did a great job serving ys & paid great attention to detail for everything. Definitely a strong recommendation for anyone looking for great Italian food in the Montreal area!
Nice Italian vibe, the food was a great surprise & really tasty. Right across the street from my hotel so great place to enjoy a good meal. Risotto was delicious!
Tiamo is a great choice if you're craving well-prepared Italian cuisine, especially wood-fired pizzas & classic pastas, in a warm, chic atmosphere. Perfect for date nights, family dinners, or weekend brunch. For larger groups, consider booking in advance & be aware of plate size expectations.

Its a really good Italian restaurant. The portions were really good & the food was great. The quality was amazing. The atmosphere was great as well. Definitely a good experience. The only thing is that there were some homeless people at the door of the restaurant, the serving wasn't that fast.
We wanted to try a new Italian restaurant & the pictures online looked great . The age group was very very young . ( teens going out on dates , & groups ). Service was great . Our waitress was sweet & attentive . Everything was correct & fast . The food was a real disappointment . I ordered the grilled octopus for appetizer . It was over cooked & rubbery . Lacked flavor & it came sitting on way too much potato salad , that had no effort or imagination put into it . My main course was cavatelli al ragu. Very simple. Bland . Nothing special for the price . My friends ordered each a pizza . Other than the dough being under done , it was ok . They would have sent it back so they can put it back in the oven for a few more minutes . But time was not on our side that day . But excellent service . Too bad the food needs personality & refinement.
Woooowweeee this was the best authentic Italian I have had in a LONG time. They brought out bread while we waited for our food & it was to DIE for. I ordered the pizza & it's a huge portion & tasted soo so good. Definitely want to come back!!

TIAMO Italian Cuisine in Montreal deserves 5 stars for its exceptional service & delightful menu. The customer service was impeccable, with friendly staff ensuring a memorable dining experience. The espresso was rich & aromatic, perfectly complementing the incredible tiramisu, which was light & decadent. The pizza had a perfect crust, & the steak was cooked to perfection, juicy & tender. Their drink selection was excellent, pairing beautifully with the meal. Highly recommend for an authentic Italian dining experience!
Don't come if you expect authentic quality Italian food. I had the Rigatoni Tiamo & the pasta tasted like silicone with a little sauce on it. I tried the Alfredo & it was flavorless & also tasted like silicone. The pizzas & desserts were alright though.
The pictures of the food look nice, & the decor has a nice vibe, staff are friendly. However, we were initially seated near a window that opened onto a busy street with cars & busses, really unpleasant. I can't imagine anyone enjoying their meal sitting there. Then we got another table which was much nicer, but unfortunately the food was overall slow to come out & disappointing. The pizza had an undercooked crust & didn't have good texture, & some of the toppings were cold. The pasta dish we ordered was not good either, the noodles were over cooked bordering mushy, & the sauce really lacked any flavour. The Italian sausage in it also had little flavour, & no spice. The food lacked any love or passion. Really not worth the money, & disappointing.
J'ai pris une pizza pour emporter & j'ai été très surpris pas le goût de la pâte de la sauce & de la saucisse. I would recommend to put on the menu at least one pizza with italian sausage. I had to pay extra sausage six dollar but was amazing. Great place great restaurant I'll be back.
Very nice & cozy Italian restaurant! The decorations & atmosphere are perfect for a night out with your partner or friends. The staff was very friendly & kind. Also they have a wood oven which makes their pizza really good. Definitely will be coming back!
