Sushi Momo est un restaurant spécialisé en sushi végétalien et cuisine japonaise et a été fondé en décembre 2014 par chef de sushi extraordinaire Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre. Avec plus que 10 ans d'expérience, les créations de Christian sont à la fois délicieuses et exceptionnellement innovatrices. Christian voulait offrir aux végétaliens le plus d'options de sushis végétaliens de toute la ville de Montréal.
Sushi Momo est un spot vegan à Montréal réputé pour ses sushis créatifs et savoureux, présentés avec soin et une ambiance chaleureuse. Le menu très varié offre des sashimis, makis, arancini et plats chauds entièrement végan, et l'on y découvre des textures et des saveurs qui surprennent même les novices. Le service est généralement attentif et professionnel, et l'ambiance intime et tamisée en fait une adresse idéale pour une soirée ou une occasion spéciale; la réservation est fortement recommandée, surtout les soirs de fin de semaine. Des retours évoquent parfois des plats un peu lourds ou des temps d'attente, mais l'ensemble est largement perçu comme exceptionnel et mémorable. Delicious food with great hospitality! Both my bf & I are not vegetarians, but we go here for our nice dinner out night. Their mushroom rolls are delicious!
I've literally been thinking about the evening I had here since I went on Valentine's day! Incredible. I've been vegan for 10 years & I have no tolerance for bland vegan food, so I can confirm; This is a vegan heaven. The most creative dishes & you can tell the food is made with such love. Incredible. Mushroom tartare who even thinks of that. I'm obsessed. One of my favourite restaurants I've ever been to !!!!
Lieu très sympa, le repas est toujours de bonne facture. Le service peut être parfois long mais cela n'enlève en rien à la qualité des plats. Concernant les prix, cela reste raisonnable. Un choix numéro 1 pour déguster des sushis

An outstanding experience, Momo defies expectations. The flavours & textures here are fantastic, authentic, & thoughtful. We had Krispi Sushi (avocado black garlic) which had divine mouth feel & subtle, delicious flavour. Also had the Delhi futomaki, which was a lovely hit of sweet & delicious Japanese curry flavour wrapped around several tasty sushi fillings & rice. Not a huge punch of sauce, rather a perfect balance of flavours. The waitresses were thoughtful, attentive, funny & relaxed, & knew their food! Presentation was great, & the ambience was intimate, comfortable & cozy. This place for this win, great work Momo!!
A true gastronomic pleasure for this 50 year vegetarian. The agedashi tofu with fried kombu & plum sauce is a divine invention. Thank you for making such delicious food.
With the number of vegan sushi restaurants in town, I knew I had to try one of the top rated here at Sushi Momo & I was not disappointed. Rolls here range from $10 - $18 & vary in pieces (clearly marked on the menu). They also offer in-house sashimi if you're interested in their take on mock fish. The rolls here are some of the best, with only one being just okay while the rest were fire. Must-have: Melitzana & Sakura Rolls. The first one was the BEST with an eggplant flambée & the textures in the roll were simply perfection. Smoky, savory, & crunchy all in one go. I also loved their Sakura Roll where they used a lot of their take on fishes in a very classic, cold roll. We also had their Geisha Roll which was also nice but on the deep-fried end. It ended up being very heavy & we would have preferred to have chosen another of the earlier futomakis instead. Of course, can't end a meal without dessert, & their Poached Pear with Nuts was an excellent way to finish. If you're able to dine in, please do! The decor & feel are very chic & upscale without necessarily paying high end prices for fantastic food. Reservations are highly encouraged especially if you are coming on a busy weekend evening.
Was so pleasantly impressed by the food & its incredibly taste. I walked in not knowing it was fully vegan & just absolutely loved every dish. Kudos to the chef. ❤️
Cenamos aquí en nuestra llegada a Montreal y la bienvenida fue in mejorable. La comida deliciosa, el servicio inmejorable , todos los chicos súper amables y atentos y el restaurante es íntimo y bonito. Lo recomiendo mucho!
