Sushi Momo est un restaurant spécialisé en sushi végétalien et cuisine japonaise et a été fondé en décembre 2014 par chef de sushi extraordinaire Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre. Avec plus que 10 ans d'expérience, les créations de Christian sont à la fois délicieuses et exceptionnellement innovatrices. Christian voulait offrir aux végétaliens le plus d'options de sushis végétaliens de toute la ville de Montréal.
Sushi Momo est un spot vegan à Montréal réputé pour ses sushis créatifs et savoureux, présentés avec soin et une ambiance chaleureuse. Le menu très varié offre des sashimis, makis, arancini et plats chauds entièrement végan, et l'on y découvre des textures et des saveurs qui surprennent même les novices. Le service est généralement attentif et professionnel, et l'ambiance intime et tamisée en fait une adresse idéale pour une soirée ou une occasion spéciale; la réservation est fortement recommandée, surtout les soirs de fin de semaine. Des retours évoquent parfois des plats un peu lourds ou des temps d'attente, mais l'ensemble est largement perçu comme exceptionnel et mémorable. Le rapport qualité-prix et l'engagement envers la cuisine végétale sont positifs, faisant de cette destination l'une des meilleures sushis véganes et recommandée aussi bien aux végans qu'aux curieux.
This vegan sushi is mind blowing & lives up to the hype. We could not believe the flavours & textures they were able to produce with only plants. One of the best sushi experiences we've ever had. The chefs platter is worth the money
Visited the dine in location today with my wife May 2024 & it was amazing. We are here on a trip from Hamilton, ON. We are vegetarian & this was hands down the best vegetarian sushi we have both ever eaten. The only thing that comes close is Tenon in downtown Toronto which is amazing this this is at another level when it comes to creativity, flavours & presentation. Overall this was an expert display of textures. I thought that every dish was a delicate combination of crunch, soft along with mixtures of umami, sweet, salty & spicy. For appetizers we got the Japanese Arancini which was hot crunchy & loved the sauces. Next for Futomaki we got the Chou-Chou (top row with yellow coating). We loved the tempura cauliflower inside. The middle row coated in avocado was the big momo which was my favourite - highly recommend. The bottom row was the GYU maki tempura which was also amazing. On the left edge was the Aubergine Falmbée (flamed eggplant) crispy rice - this one was amazing & the flammed eggplant created unique flavour that we never tasted before & was amazing. On the right edge was the avocat & ail noir (Avacado & Black garlic); my only comment would that this one tasted like a guacamole topping & perhaps next time I would try one of the other Cripsy rice Overall I thought it was amazing & was worth the price. I will be coming back here if I ever visit Montreal again & will be bringing friends & family here in the future. Service was great too considering we were English speakers. My only other comment would be that an English menu would be helpful as I kept having to enter the a picture onto Google translate.

This vegan sushi place is absolutely amazing! The flavours bursting from every bite makes you want to go back again & again. I personally like pani puri & soba mango salad in the starters. Sushi - Delhi, big momo, Sakura. They have a wonderful drinks menu & cocktails are fantastic!
One of the best Vegan sushi restaurants in canada. Consistent in their flavours, textures & taste. Been coming here every trip to Montreal past few years & found the good quality the same. Exceptional service & good ambiance Never have I seen such innovative flavours in vegan/ vegetarian sushi. Great combos & interesting options. Always spoilt for choosing what to order. Would definitely come back again when I revisit Montreal. Great job Sushi Momo for being so consistent in keeping the standards so high.
Absolutely incredible vegan sushi! The atmosphere is amazing, warm & classy. The way the sushi replicates classic flavours with vegan ingredients totally surprised me - delicious!
Will always be one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal. Unique, bursting with flavour, so well balanced. I hesitate to even call this vegan sushi because as a non vegan myself there's alot of misconceptions & bias when people hear that. This is not supposed to taste or mimic sushi. It's its own creation & is genius. Deserving of a Michelin star for sure. 10/10

Whether you're vegan or not I highly recommend trying their sushi! So delicious! They're fresh, extremely flavourful & creative. I recommend the omakase to have a bit of everything.
I ordered the hitori menu for delivery. Visually, the sushi are really appealing & well presented on the box. There was a 2 for 1 special so I had the chance to try out 6 different sushi flavours. The hitori menu came with edamame & option between miso or gyoza. I chose miso & ordered gyoza separately. Although the sushi looked beautiful, they were really dense, heavy & covered with sauce. Most of them had mushroom & sweet potato, & these two vegetables are really heavy. Sushi should never be heavy whether vegetarian or not. It is meant to be light. After eating only 6 pieces, my stomach is so full & bloated. I was hoping to add this resto to my list of favourites so that I could Uber Eats from there, but unfortunately, I'll have to pass on this. Nice try Sushi Momo but definitely not for me. Oh, the edamame sprinkled with a unique topping was the one item that tasted decent. Even the miso was so-so - rather salty just like the gyoza & the sushi.
As somebody who doesn't consume fish, I'd never thought I'd be able to experience the pleasures of a fine omakase, but Sushi Momo allowed me to do so, without falling short of expectations.
I had their set-menu, which included an oyster shooter, a mango-soba salad, chef's choice of sushi, & a brownie.
The shooter was made of savoury, stringy oyster mushrooms in a slightly tangy sauce with a crispy chip on top.
The mango-soba salad was great, I enjoyed how the fried onions provided a flavorful & textural contrast to the luscious noodles, same with the radish & greens. However, the mangos were underripe & overly tart.
Chef's choice of sushi rolls provided to me were the Delhi, Tropical, & Oyster Mushroom, Caviar, & Truffle.
Delhi was reminiscent of Japanese curry, with crispy fried kabocha & peppers on a roll with konjac shrimp & a light curry flavour behind it.
Tropical was a refreshing punch, of mango, coconut, freeze-dried strawberries, with a yuzu-mango sauce, & the same konjac shrimp. In both instances the konjac shrimp was chewy & flavourless, but it did not detract from the food.
Oyster Mushroom, Caviar, & Truffle was a mass of rich creamy mushrooms with a seaweed caviar on top of a thick piece of fried rice.
The dessert was also presented well, a fudgy brownie with strawberries, & a raspberry & mango emulsion, but I wasn't a big fan.
I have been coming to sushi momo for years & it is always a delight. For birthdays or when guests are visiting from out of town, this is always my restaurant of choice. Really the best vegan restaurant in Montreal. You can really taste the care put into each flavour. From the maki selection to the depth of flavour in the Miso soup. The
Omakase is a must choose, no question.

Amazing food, everything was a beautiful work of art & so delicious. Food was original, creative & mind-blowingly flavourful. Service was great, friendly & informative staff. The ambiance & decor was really nice as well.

I went with 2 friends, non of us being vegan, & we all agree that our sushi craving was more than fulfilled at Sushi Momo! We got the 3 person tasting menu (which could have served 4 people). Each roll was so dynamic & flavourful. Great atmosphere. Pl

Amazing experience as usual! Excellent service, nice atmosphere, the food was incredible & full of flavour, & the price was great. Our favourite sushi restaurant continues to impress!
I have visited with family & recently brought a friend. She is not vegetarian or vegan. She kept saying that vegan cooking goes the extra mile in flavour a d presentation! She will return with family & friends. The only downside was decor & cocktail

The creativity & resourcefulness that were put to use in those recipes resulted in some of the most unique & flavourful sushi I've ever tasted. By far my favorite sushi place in town now!
