fresh(119) cash(100) sesame(87) oven(49) cheese(45) shop(41) dozen(28) recommend(26) classic(26) flavor(25) atm(24) chewy(23)They let you take pictures of the whole process & their souvenirs are super pretty. They're my fav cause they have many different bagel toppings. You need to pay cash. They take US dollars too.
A world class establishment with a superlative bagel product that relies on boiling before baking in the wood oven. The best.
Loved the bagels but coming from NYC I was surprised to find that you can't order bagels w fixings, instead you buy from the fridge & do it yourself. Felt a little silly buying a whole container of cream cheese for two bagels & throwing out the rest. That it was delicious & I'd love to come back.
i got a sesame bagel & it was great to grab & go. just a note, this location doesn't make sandwiches & is cash only.
Well, people say you can find the best bagels in Montreal here, which is why we visited this place. We had fun & really enjoyed our time. Just make sure to have cash with you, as they don't accept cards, at least from what I remember.
Delicious bagels. Must try if you pass by Montreal. Nice & friendly staff too. Just remember to bring cash as cards are not accepted!

Delicious, well worth being name one of the top bagel spots in the city. Ask for whatever's fresh from the oven!
Very fast service love it , the only problem is that they only take cash
One of the best bagels in Montreal, hands down better than NYC bagels, while I am from Queens where all the bagels are made. Growing up eating NY bagel, every time you eat one, you are full for the whole day. It is a lot of doughs, vs Montreal bagels smaller lighter, crispy outside & light & chewy & sweet inside. We ordered like 9 dozens for friends & families, good thing we called in earlier or else it would be hard to get all of the bagels we needed. Great service chatting with the manager or owner, Joe at the counter. He was friendly to chat with & knows how to run the business well!
Original home of the St Viateur bagel. I used to come here 50 years ago.
