Les avis mentionnent souvent
fresh(119) cash(100) sesame(87) oven(49) cheese(45) shop(41) dozen(28) recommend(26) classic(26) flavor(25) atm(24) chewy(23)We had a close friend who is an Ex-Pay Montrealer who was visiting from Raleigh, NC for the weekend. We drove around for him to visit "Old Haunts" & ended up @ St Viateur Bagel where he bought Five (5) Dozen assorted bagels to bring back home with him & we bought two (2) dozen! The car had that delicious freshly-baked aroma that made us each did into our bags for a munch on the drive home. A Montreal Institution for so many years.
Fantastic place for bagels, an authentic experience I recommend getting a full dozen & freezing some of them (sliced) for use on a later date. Vets when hot & fresh out the oven!
we got couple different flavours, not all of them were fresh & tasty. In fact the only one that was really fresh & hot was the classic bagel the rest were cold & dry hard to eat. Not worth the drive
Delicious Montreal bagel, a must try ! Always better when they're freshly made on the same day
Les meilleurs bagels d'Amérique du nord, selon la légende urbaine, dans une ambiance typique & authentique au coeur d'Outremont, le quartier juif... de bonnes odeurs & une déco authentique !!! 😜
Authentic Montreal bagels to be had here. My sister requested I bring some home on my trip here. Sesame is the best one to get. Remember to bring cash.
Soooo good. Different from NYC bagels but absolutely worth the trip. Make sure you have cash! Line moves super quick. Get the pretzel salt bagel!
Quintessential example of the best version of the bagel on the planet Earth. Wonderful. Personally, I stick to the classic sesame bagel.
Pretty average bagel to me. I've been eating NYC bagels for years & I really don't see this as a better bagel. Maybe I did not get the right flavor, cause I don't understand what the buzz is.
