We chose sEb L'artisan Culinaire to celebrate Valentine's Day in the middle of our ski trip - & it was the perfect decision.
The ambiance was intimate & romantic, a beautiful contrast to a full day on the slopes. It felt personal, warm, & thoughtfully curated - the kind of place where time slows down & you truly savour the moment.
We enjoyed the four-course menu with wine pairings, & every single dish was a masterpiece. The pairings featured several exceptional European wines, including two absolute gems from Portugal that elevated the entire experience. Each course felt intentional, balanced, & crafted with real artistry.
The service was extraordinary. Lydia was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, & attentive - guiding us through the wines & dishes with passion & ease. She made the evening feel even more special.
This is more than a restaurant; it's an experience. We will absolutely return to celebrate again.
Expensive splurge worth the service & the food.
I was surprised to see that this restaurant was listed in the Michelin guide (but has no stars... yet). Everyone here is super friendly & attentive. We figured that we had to do the 7-course, & we were warned it would be about three hours. Going into it knowing this was good... I think other reviewers were off-put like the 7-course was being discouraged. The restaurant itself is pretty dimly lit but not too dark, & the noise level is moderate & sometimes you can't hear people at a normal volume, which kind of stinks.
But we're here to figure out how the food is, right? Summarized, $150 CAD is not bad for a filling & adventurous 7-course splurge prepared by a team dedicated to their craft. Apologies that I can't remember exactly what was what, because it was hard to hear in the restaurant & also my memory sucks.
- First course was literally a single tortellini. I almost laughed at the idea of being served just ONE of them, & imagining a chef trying to dress a SINGLE one. It was actually not my most favorite of all seven courses, but if you gave me a plate of these, it would be very, very good. I don't remember exactly what it was but it was like braised rib meat with mushroom. Mostly savory with no real contrast.
- Second course was a nice Asian-inspired fusion of flavors with a tempura buried in strands of a veg. Nice combination of cohesive flavors & texture.
- Third course was a super-small piece of foie gras, surrounded by a similarly-sized apricot & some greens on top of a paste & drizzled with a champagne reduction. Lots of flavors here & what looks like the first of the rest of the courses with what looked & tasted like Brussel sprout leaves.
- Fourth course was a piece of stingray. Never had stingray before, & the sauce it came with was slightly salty & savory, which was nice.
- Fifth course was two lambchops & probably the largest amount of food for any of the courses. More Brussel sprout greens on top of a turnip mash, if I remember right. This was nice, meaty, & delish. Weirdly enough, it also had a touch of leek ash... literal ash. Not really sure why other than for presentation.
- Sixth course was an aerated cheese foam with honey, nuts, all sitting on croutons. This was weirdly one of my favorites, as it was such a simple dish where you could enjoy all of the flavors distinctively, not to mention enjoy a foamed cheese from Quebec.
- Lastly, the seventh course was a sort of torte with a crispy leaf pastry thing sitting on top of slivers of pear & what was kind of like a pear'applesauce' with a divot to hold a pistachio filling. This was also one of my favorites as everything was different from each other, flavor-wise. Very nice.
- We also got some little pistachio'muffins' with a coffee-like cream on top as a bonus. Not bad, but not amazing.
There is also a VAST wine selection, ranging from $15 glasses to $6500 bottles. I feel bad that I'm not a wine sommelier to be able to appreciate all of the expressions & vintages.
This may seem like I'm being picky, but I'm doing that on purpose considering you would be paying $150 for food you may or may not enjoy. I still highly recommend the multi-course meals at least once to experience them.
They also charge $11 CAD for sparkling or flat water.
Definitely would come again!
After a few disappointing meals elsewhere in Tremblant, sEb was a breath of fresh air. We had the 4-course menu, & it was excellent value for the quality provided. I tried the deer for the first time; while game meat isn't my personal favorite, I could tell the chefs did everything possible to elevate it. It was'fall-off-the-bone' tender & clearly prepared with high technical skill.
The dessert was amazing, & the service was top-tier-attentive without being overbearing. The establishment is also incredibly clean; the mirrors were so spotless we actually thought they were another room! If you want a meal where you actually get what you pay for in Tremblant, this is the place.
Outstanding dining experience! We followed the advice of many other reviewers & opted for the 4-course table d'hôte. Every detail was perfect, from the rosemary focaccia at the beginning to the mignardise with coffee at the finish. Exception, attentive & friendly service.
We had an absolutely fabulous dinner at sEb! Instead of the tasting menu, we opted for à la carte selections & were blown away by both the veal shank & the venison-each dish was perfectly prepared & bursting with flavour. As visitors excited to try a local favourite, sEb exceeded all expectations. The service was warm, attentive, & genuinely pleasant, complementing the outstanding food perfectly. We'll absolutely be back on our next visit. Highly recommend!
My visit to Seb l'Artisan Culinaire was nothing short of exceptional. Our group of eight was warmly welcomed & treated like family from the moment we stepped through the door. The service was attentive & friendly, striking the perfect balance between professionalism & genuine hospitality.
Each dish was a delightful work of culinary art - the flavors were bold & innovative, showcasing the chef's creativity & passion for quality ingredients. The presentation was impeccable, making each plate a feast for both the eyes & the palate.
The ambiance further enhanced our dining experience. The thoughtfully designed interior created an inviting & relaxed atmosphere, ideal for both intimate gatherings & larger celebrations. Every detail, from the decor to the music, contributed to a truly memorable evening.
I highly recommend Seb l'Artisan Culinaire to anyone looking for a restaurant where excellent service, exquisite food, & a charming ambiance come together seamlessly. It's the perfect spot for a special occasion or an indulgent night out!
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my wife & son. We started with the vol au vent & burrata. Both were excellent. My son had the lamb, my wife had the ragu bianco, & I had the soffocato. The servings of each were generous & delicious. Nothing left to take home. We shared a bottle of Sancerre which was also nice.
The desserts looked great but we were full so we passed.
Service was leisurely but attentive & the amuse-bouche & cheesecake bite with the bill was a nice touch.
After a long day of skiing, this was a perfect ending. If we visit Mont Tremblant again, I would not hesitate to go back.

Wonderful dining experience that has been consistently great over the years. Attentive, thoughtful service too.
I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at sEb L'artisan culinare. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & welcoming. Our server, Julie, was fabulous-so friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable about the menu. She made our evening even more enjoyable with her excellent recommendations. The highlight of the meal was definitely the lamb shank dish-it was beyond delicious- tender, flavorful, & cooked to perfection. It was so good that I couldn't stop savoring every bite, & the portion was incredibly generous. Honestly, it was a feast for the senses! If you're looking for a top-notch French dining experience with impeccable service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!
Excellent food, service & ambiance. The food is top notch & what you'd expect from such a restaurant, some of dishes surpassed our expectations. It's indeed expensive but it's worth every penny! Our waitress Diana was very attentive & friendly, & made our experience even better ;)
Excellent food at a fair price. The service was attentive without being overpowering. The courses were well paced - not rushed, but not slow. Will definitely be back.
We celebrated my birthday, my mother & I, yesterday after a day on the paddle board. We decided to order the 7 course discovery menu with wine pairing. The restaurant was cozy & welcoming & the service was kind & attentive. Each plate was executed without flaw & as beautiful as it was delicious. I loved that they open on Monday nights as selection is limited on that day normally. I was even surprised with truffles & a candle to wish me a happy birthday. This was a delightful treat to finish a day already so perfect!

We had the 4-course dinner with wine pairings. Food & wine was fantastic ! Our server Michel was attentive & made it a wonderful experience.

We celebrated our 10 year anniversary at the restaurant with a 7 course, chef's choice meal. It was absolutely delicious. The staff was very attentive & positive. They were key in our overall experience.
5 stars all around.

We appreciated the creativity of the menu, the ambiance was very pleasant. Good choice of background music. The server was attentive, explained the dishes well, & seemed to be enjoying himself. Very pleasant, with appropriate humour when called for. We look forward to coming back! Thank you for a lovely evening!

Exceeded expectations. They surprised us with little add ons to try & all were delicious. They were able to modify for my dietary restrictions & it was wonderful. Julie presented the dishes explained the ingredients. The staff was very helpful & attentive. Would love to return for another gastronomic culinary journey!

One of the best meals we have had. We had the 4 course paired with wine. Perfect pairings & perfect flavors in the food. Fresh ingredients, great flavors. Highly recommend. Staff was friendly & attentive. The space was beautiful..

Party of 6, each enjoyed a fine dining experience ...escargots, frog legs, oysters for appetizers, main course of duck, seafood mix, bison ragu, lamb shank. All done to perfections as were the accompaniments. Expensive, but worth every penny. Attentive waiter with sense of humour & knowledgeable about each dish.

We very much enjoyed the ambiance, Alex's friendly, attentive & knowledgeable service & the food!!! The evening stretched longer than anticipated ;) we had a great time. Highly recommended!!
