chicken(26) fries(11) poulet(9) sauce(9) piri piri(6) delivery(6) salad(6) bbq(6) fresh(5) club sandwich(4) pick(4) tasty(4)2nd time I order from here & probably the last... everything was dry with no flavor. Even the coleslaw was bland.
It's the second time I eat here & both times I was extremely disappointed. The first time I did take out the chicken was so stale & felt it was sitting out for 2 hours. I gave it the benefit of the doubt & ordered take out again & it's worse than the 1st time. The bread was burnt & so stale & dry, I felt like I was biting into a rock. & not to mentioned the chicken being burnt & dry. I couldn't even finish it & threw it in the garbage, biggest waste of money!! Avoid this place at all costs!!
Nous avons été servi par Nick & il était INCROYABLE. Nous sommes arrivés 30 minutes avant la fermeture & malgré le fait que nous étions les derniers clients au resto il ne nous a pas pressé. Sont service était sans faute & il était très chaleureux. Merci Nick!
Came to counter to order dinner for take out tonight, my second order was club sandwich with mayo inside the bread. Took my order home, only to find there was no mayo on the bread! Have asked for mayo inside the sandwich other times & it was applied. This time, I had to tear apart the sandwich to put the mayo on it, which makes the sandwich sloppy. I was very disappointed that I asked to have mayo on my sandwich & it wasn't done. The cashier always says yes to the request, yet the staff making the food, do not seem to respond to the request, when at the time, the lobby was not busy. I should not have to check the sandwich each time, to check if the sandwich was done properly, while releasing the air to hot fries, therefore making them cold.
Disappointed, especially as long-time customers.
We ordered St-Hubert for my parents expecting decent chicken, but it was really dry. My mom genuinely thought it was from the night before. My son's Nashville chicken wrap was also dry, except it was drowned in oil, which didn't help. The fries were limp & added nothing to the meal. Dining in is usually a different experience, so I've added a star for good measure.
For what we paid, this just wasn't acceptable. We've been customers for years & expected much better quality than this. We're currently contacting the restaurant to request a refund or some form of resolution.
' Feel free to waste your money anywhere else, but do not spend it here'
Today we visited this place & we have never had such an unpleasant experience in any restaurant or fast food before
The behaviour of the waitstaff was extremely rude, disrespectful, & absolutely unacceptable
They were very cold & clearly did not care whether customers were there or not
I honestly suggest either shutting this place down entirely or replacing the tired & unmotivated staff with younger people who actually want to work
Do not force employees to work close to New Year if they are dealing with personal or mental issues & then take it out on customers
My experience tells me the problem comes from the top, from management, & flows down to the staff
Otherwise, with so many negative reviews about the awful behaviour of employees, something positive should have happened by now
Disappointed!
Dec 30, 2025 around 3:00 PM.
This was our first & last visit to this restaurant, & the service was completely unacceptable.
The server came to our table with No greeting, No smile, & No sign of basic hospitality. Her cold & distant attitude made us feel rushed & unwelcome from the very beginning.
Very uncomfortable environment!
While the lady at the entrance, who appeared to handle take-out orders, was friendly & polite, it did not make up for the overall poor experience inside!
We chose to leave before even placing an order!
Management must address this issue immediately. Instead of just giving unhappy customers an email to complain, they need to take real action to address these numerous negative reviews!!
Was at this location on 12/24 at 12:30. The woman at the pick up counter was next level unprofessional. She seemed to have been under extensive stress however taking it out on colleagues in front of everyone & rude with customers waiting for their orders. It was a very uncomfortable experience.
Horrible service à la clientèle madame qui prend les commande au comptoir très désagréable & impolie
Last night I decided to go & have some takeout chicken from St. Hubert BBQ on St. Charles in Kirkland. I have to say that disappointing is an understatement. The chicken legs were small & so dry that it was inedible. It was borderline chicken jerky. The quality has been declining for the last few years, but I always gave them the benefit of doubt & continued to order from them. Unfortunately, I think that I may need to look for a new place to get my BBQ chicken fix.
70 $ pour souper je reçois ma salade César en livraison sans vinaigrette César rupture de mayonnaise en plus service très ordinaire pour le prix tant qu'à moi
Despite having a packed schedule, I deeply appreciate the ambiance & ritual of dining out. For me, stepping into a restaurant is like attending a live stage production-each member of the staff, from the cooks to the waitstaff, plays a role in orchestrating the experience. The final act, the presentation of the meal, is the satisfying dénouement. Everyone walks away fulfilled: the customer with a delicious meal, the server with a well-earned tip, & the restaurant with another satisfied guest.
However, with time being a rare luxury, many of us rely on takeout as the next best option. In today's fast-paced world, food delivery apps have made this incredibly convenient, whether it's through platforms like Uber Eats or a restaurant's delivery service. I tend to opt for pick-up. It's more cost-effective, & I like to double-check the order before leaving. After all, when kitchens are running at full speed, human errors can happen.
I've had a few instances over the years where something in the order was missing, which often leads to an awkward return trip & the uncomfortable feeling of having to'prove' your case. Sometimes, the interaction can be tense-something no customer (or staff member) enjoys.
This brings me to a recent experience with Restaurant St-Hubert, a restaurant I've been loyal to for over 25 years. Every Saturday, like clockwork, I place the same order through their app-just a few taps, payment confirmed, & I'm off to pick it up. It's become a comforting weekly ritual. However, this past Saturday, something felt off. The box was unusually light, & once I got home & wrestled through the tightly secured packaging-you practically need scissors to cut through those plastic ties-I discovered that the fries were missing. All that remained was a solitary chicken breast. I was understandably frustrated. It was such a simple order-how could something so basic be overlooked?
Still, instead of marching back to the restaurant, I decided to submit feedback through the app when prompted about my experience. To my surprise, within a minute, I received a $5 credit toward my next order. No phone calls, no arguments-just quick, courteous resolution. & sure enough, the following Saturday, everything was back to normal. The meal was complete &, once again, satisfying.
Some of my friends argued that I should have asked for a full refund. But honestly, is that the kind of society we want to live in-one where we capitalize on every minor mistake for maximum gain? I believe in fairness & understanding. Mistakes happen. What matters most is how a business responds, & Restaurant St-Hubert did so swiftly & respectfully.
This experience reminded me why I remain a loyal customer. Restaurant St-Hubert is more than just Quebec's top chicken restaurant-they consistently offer quality food, dependable service, & genuine customer care. They serve not only great rotisserie chicken, but also ribs, burgers, wraps & comforting seasonal fare. & when they get something wrong, they make it right-without drama.
In a world where good service is often taken for granted, it's important to give credit where it's due. So here's a heartfelt thank-you to St-Hubert-for making things right, for understanding the value of loyalty, & for being a reliable part of my weekly routine. Sometimes, a small act of good service deserves a big shout-out. @mtlrestorap
This is the worst location.. always stale & cold food.
They also need to get rid of the lady at take out counter.. she made sure I'll never return again .
The price on the site & in the restaurant & the take out restaurant are different! By a lot!!!
The chicken sandwich are over 20$ & it's disgusting!!!! Avoid at all cost!! Would never eat there again! Go to Madam Poulet sooo much better & at a lower cost!! Insane that this place is still open
We really enjoyed our chicken dinners with a generous portion of cole slaw! The chicken was moist & quite tasty.
Service was excellent. We really miss St. Hubert since they closed all of their locations in Toronto.
Bon restaurant, sauf que j ai trouvé cher changer 3,5$ pour un verre du jus pour enfants!
Our waitress Loris went above & beyond for us, she was friendly & very patience. We took my sister who is Autistic out for lunch on Sept 25th, 2025, she has special needs Loris was very accommodating. Thank you for the fabulous service.( I hope I got her name right that what it says on the bill.)
The food was fresh, hot & delicious too. Affordable lunch specials many different choices to choose from & portions are perfect size. My only complaint is the fries, they're the frozen kind, it's a shame St Hubert restaurants don't serve fresh cut fries like the other chicken restaurants.
