A wonderful dinner in a lovely historic landmark!

Restaurant offrant un certain charme avec son décor champêtre & son ambiance agréable. Nous étions un groupe d'environ 30 personnes & seulement deux serveurs étaient assignés à notre table, ce qui a probablement contribué à un service particulièrement lent tout au long de la soirée.
Du côté de la nourriture, c'était correct sans être mémorable. Mon steak était malheureusement beaucoup plus cuit que demandé. Compte tenu de la taille de notre groupe, cela a peut-être eu un impact sur l'exécution & le service.
Malgré ces quelques points à améliorer, l'endroit possède un beau potentiel grâce à son cadre chaleureux.

Love this restaurant, lunch was perfect! Had lunch with a friend, sat in th dining room, nice view of water. Wati staff friendly & polite. I ordered the green salad & the shrimp dish as my main. It was perfect, just the right size & absolutely delicious.. My friend ordered the Avocado salad & added chicken. The presentation was fabulous & she enjoyed it tremendously, We also ordered the bread which was very tasty & served with a home made butter! I had 2 glasses of Chablis, my favorite wine! & my friend had 2 glasses, maybe 3 :) of the Valpolicello. Our waitress was amazing & it was her 30th year anniverary working there! I used to go frequently to this restaurant over the years for dinners & lunch, yet had not been back since before covid, She actually remembered me! No one rushed us through lunch, we enjoyed the meal & conversation which lasted over 2 1/2 hours. Perfect venue for a leasurely lunch or dinner, Will definately be back sooner than later!

I went here for lunch I wanted to enjoy the sunshine on a terrace & on my hot girl walks I always walk by here & it smells so good so I totally had to try it.
The exterior is really cute. The inside is super cute as well the decor is very traditional & has a lot of personality. I sat on the upstairs Terrace which by the way had a bug net & it looked like a plastic shield for it rains (bonus) & it was so nice to have views of the weather. I very much enjoyed it.
I got the Table d'Hôte special that came with an appetizer main & a dessert. I got the soup. I think it was some sort of carrot soup which was really good for the main I got the Bavette steak with veggies & fries, which was OK not amazing could've used more seasoning, but that's just my take on it. It was cooked to order & I appreciated that. & then to finish it off it was a bread pudding with a strawberry mousse, which is also just OK. The service is really good. The server was very nice & knowledgable about the menu. I don't have any complaints about that overall it's nice to try this gem of the West Island.
