The chicken is delicious. We also enjoyed the rice & sides. We came here twice while on vacation in Montreal as it was close to our lodging. All the Portuguese chicken we've tried since has not been comparable to this place.
Ordered delivery on uber eats & when the order arrived, the chicken was still hot & juicy. Well seasoned (ordered the spicy version) & the portions were good.
The food is delicious & fresh. Especially the chicken & biffanas. You can get fresh pastries & bread. Even chorizo ! Great place to have a yummy meal & affordable for a family takeout meal. Worth the trip!
Fast service but missing some napkins & utensils we had to ask. The price of the chicken & fries was great value but the sauce I asked as extra they added was cold & different taste & did not mix well together. The natas were pretty good.

The change of administration is apparent! The service & food was amazing. I ordered 6 whole chickens & a bunch of other stuff for Christmas. People ate way more than they planned to it was so good. All around success! The staff was super friendly & efficient. I'm glad I took a chance as I hadn't gone back there since the old owners almost ran it to the ground. The new owners are obviously sharp & intent on bringing Ramados back to #1 Will definitely return & recommend.
The chicken & the spicy sauce feel almost great, but just not quite right. Its still a good place to eat, but not the best of portuguese chicken in montreal. Solid 4/5. Awesome de natas tho, they get a 5/5
Never went that often, not a big chicken guy. But i still remember when this places was closed for a couple years - the outcry & public mourning speaks volumes to the obvious quality of the spot & the role it must play in the community. Plus it always makes all of Rachel street south of St Laurent smell really really good.
A CLASSIC Montréal institution. Delicious, original flavour & great service! A must when in Montreal. The chicken here is epic.
