I have rated this out of 5 for a fast food restaurant. The staff good (some were great, some were a bit disappointing). The portuguese chicken never fails to hit the spot. The fries & even the salads were much better than is typical for this sort of restaurant.
On est allé entre amis (4 personnes), on a tous pris quelques choses de différent pour goûter à tout ou presque (poitrine, cuisse, sandwich au poulet, salade, frites, riz) & nous avons été déçu pour du poulet en général. On s'attendait à beaucoup mieux venant d'une rôtisserie portugaise. Les poitrines étaient sèches, les morceaux de cuisses avaient énormément de gras ou de peaux molles & la sauce piri piri douce était très liquide & n'avait presque pas de goût... C'était décevant.
Le riz était correct & les frites & la salade étaient très bonnes par contre. Le gros plus est la pâtisserie à même le resto qui offrent d'excellents desserts.
Bref, nous n'y retournerons surement pas pour le poulet.

Edit nov 2025: I just placed an order for the bifana plate. I said I wanted the round roasted potatoes like in the picture, not fry strips. If they cared they would have given more rice instead of more fries or replaced the fries with salad if they didn't have the potatoes. I hate when I'm not listened to especially when it costs me money & my health. The bifana is rgood & the portion was big though so it's enough for 2 meals at least. It's not a big deal but still worth mentioning
Such a good chicken & fries source. I don't come here anymore because I'm mostly vegan but must give a proper review to send my appreciation for past good memories
First day time since they have opened again. We went early so there was no waiting time. The service was very efficient & fast. The people at the counter were courteous.
The food itself, we had the family chicken with fries & salad. The food was delicious. I wish there was more sauce on the chicken. The sauce that come with the salad is sweet which give me a perfect fusion along with the chicken. Fries were good also. We ended taking their natas, surprisingly, each one was huge & delicious. I recommend.
I have not been here in years & heard the crew left & went to ma poule mouillée years ago & that's exactly it. Ramados use to be decadent in flavors & the fries were spectacular. I went today for a chicken sandwich with fries & I was actually disappointed. The salad is exactly like MA poule with the small portions & hardly any sauce. I don't eat at restaurants much as I love to cook . For the 1 time I wanted to treat myself . It was good but nothing to rave about anymore . Service was nice I have to say .
Romados c'est bon! Bonne portion, les patates rondes sont incroyables, le riz juste parfait & la salade très bonne avec sa vinaigrette. Les tartelettes portugaises parfaites! Pas sec mais bien moelleux & croustillant à souhait. À peu près tout est à bon prix. *Ça serait cool d'avoir des jus pour les enfants.
Casual restaurant specializing in Portuguese-style rotisserie chicken, fries & pasteis de nata. I tagged along with a meat eater; there weren't many vegan options for me other than fries & a side salad.
Good bang for your buck. They give a lot of fries, a reasonable amount of meat, & a salad for around 17$ It tastes light but the more you eat, the saltier it gets. Not a lot of people sitting in the restaurant but theres a constant roll of in & outs. Good place to visit.
Rapide, portions très généreuses, le poulet grillé, le chorizo, les frites, la salade, la sauce piquante, tout est savoureux, à prix avantageux. Jamais déçus!

Bon poulet 🍗 Je mange rarement de viande, mais là je dois dire que j'ai été agréablement surprise par la cuisson & les saveurs du blanc de poulet que j'ai pris. Le plat frite salade poulet est simple & efficace. Les quantités sont généreuses. Les prix sont corrects. Une bonne petite adresse pour du poulet grillé!
Peuple de Montréal, réjouissez-vous ! Il existe encore des havres gastronomiques où se régaler à 20 $ ou moins. Un généreux « plat deux viandes » composé de poulet (viande blanche & brune) & d'un chorizo, accompagné d'un tapis de frites & d'une salade délicieusement imprégnée de vinaigrette auquel on ajoute volontiers un renversant sandwich bifana à 8 $ a la puissance de combler une paire d'estomacs homme-femme de taille moyenne. Moi-même qui a la réputation d'avoir un estomac d'une flexibilité phénoménale n'a pas eu l'appétit pour finir mes frites. (En fait, elles manquaient un peu de saveur, sauf lorsqu'elle était baignée de sauce Piri-Piri ! Demandez donc à ce qu'on les arrose généreusement). Un moelleux pastel de nata a tout de même trouvé son chemin jusqu'à ma bouche ! Faim pas faim, il faut en essayer un. L'exécution est rapide & le service (offert en espagnol, langue de travail du jour !), affable. Aussitôt commandé, aussitôt servi. La plupart des clients prenaient leurs boîtes pour emporter, mais le local disposait tout de même d'une vingtaine de places pour ceux qui préféraient s'y arrêter (comme nous). L'agencement vise donc surtout à permettre une circulation efficace des visiteurs pour en maximiser le volume sans toutefois, faire de compromis sur la qualité. Je pense que c'est à peu près tout ce que j'ai trouvé à dire de pertinent ou d'intéressant. Malgré les expressions colorées qui parsèment mon texte, je prends conscience que je livre ici une critique plutôt pondérée, un peu détachée émotionnellement. La véritable richesse de mon expérience ne réside pas seulement dans les saveurs du Romados, mais plutôt dans la présence de ma merveilleuse alliée, compagne de tous les dimanches, qui transforme chaque lieu & chaque moment en quelque chose d'exceptionnel. Que chacun puisse avoir une telle amie sincère & gentille dans sa vie. D'ailleurs, à ma droite, un duo de jeunes étudiants, lui francophone, elle anglophone, badinait dans la langue de Molière avec des sourires complices & affichait la candeur & la fraîcheur caractéristiques d'un rapport naissant. Parce que, oui, le Romados offre non seulement la possibilité de savourer des classiques portugais à petit prix, mais aussi de le faire dans un cadre joli & agréable.
Honestly, the staff were nice. I really didn't like the food because it was really oily & didn't seem healthy to me but the portion was big. The salad was good. The weird thing was that they were using painting brush for sauce brush. I don't know if it is hygienic 🙁
Pour 14$ avant taxe pour une poitrine, salade & frites c'est foutuement abordable. Le poulet & bien juteux & la portion de frite est gigantesque. Trop de vinaigrette sur la salade mais sinon ce fut une très belle expérience.

This isn’t the RamadosI remember, went at 5 pm - half Chiken with half chorizo with potatoes & a salad eventing was dry salad wasn’t fresh… $28 bucks spent, very disappointing there’s a reason nobody goes anymore
