Romados is one of the best spots in Montreal for Portuguese rotisserie chicken.

The chicken is always juicy, tender, & packed with smoky, garlicky flavor, with crispy skin that's perfectly seasoned. What makes it special is how it captures the essence of Portuguese cuisine-simple, bold, & comforting, with the rich taste of garlic, paprika, herbs, olive oil, & a touch of citrus that lets the quality of the ingredients shine.

The portions are generous, the prices are fair, & the service is quick, even when it's busy. If you're looking for authentic Portuguese cuisine that delivers incredible flavor in every bite, Romados is absolutely worth a visit. Next time I'm here, I have to try their poutine - I've heard great things about it!

Increíble comida, podría decir que es la mejor poutine de pollo que tiene Montreal, el ambiente no es tan acogedor pero el servicio y la comida son increíbles. Y el pollo con la salsa piri piri son increíbles

My first experience of Romados was when I first came to Montreal to visit about 8 years ago. Romados was delicious then & delicious still on my recent visit.

Romados stands out from the many Portugese chicken places in the area. Their chicken plates are delicious & the hot sauce compliments it perfectly. The roasted potatoes & salad were such wonderful pairings. A chicken 1/4 plate is definitely enough for one person. We opted for the dark meat. The chicken is so flavor & the skin is soo good.

Their Romados poutine is phenomenal. You HAVE to try it. Small is good to share for 2. It's just so balanced. Good fries, good chicken, good cheese & gravy. We got white meat for the poutine.

The staff here are just wonderful. Such down to earth friendly people. Their reviews speak for themselves.

Go & try it, you won't regret the detour.

Came here for takeout. Got the roasted chicken & sausage poutine as well as the Natas (portuguese tarts).
The poutine was delicious - it was packed with juicy roasted chicken & sausage. I typically have a big appetite & eat large portions, but this is next level huge - I had to keep saving leftovers for 3 days to actually finish eating this dish. (You need not worry of going hungry if you order this, I guarantee).

Natas were nice & flaky with a smooth baked custard; it had a good char to the surface which added to the taste. Its worth coming here for the Natas alone, recommended!

Excellent place for poutine! Ordered the Poutine Romados. Great fries, delicious gravy, cheese curds & the added roasted chicken was SO tasty! The Pastel de nata were also excellent.
Friendly service from the owner George. Highly recommend! 😀
