Review Summary

Rôtisserie Coco Rico is widely celebrated for its authentic Portuguese cuisine, generous portions, and exceptional value. Many diners highlight the flavorful rotisserie chicken, succulent pork sandwiches, and the standout roasted potatoes, which are frequently described as a local favorite. The family-run establishment is consistently praised for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly, attentive service, making visitors feel right at home. The highly acclaimed pastéis de nata are a must-try dessert that many compare favorably to those found in Lisbon. Whether for a quick, comforting lunch or a substantial family meal, this spot remains a cherished Montreal staple that earns high recommendations for its quality, heart, and consistency.

Really enjoyed Coco Rico's new café & patisserie concept. The pastel de nata is honestly one of the best I've tried in Montreal, especially for the price. The latte was also delicious & paired perfectly with it.

Special mention to Wijdane for the kind service, very polite, attentive, & welcoming. Made the experience even better.

Will recommend & will try again when in plateau area.

Came in to try the roast chicken . It wasn't busy when we arrived (Tues night around 7pm). Ordered the half chicken platter with cous cous salad & roast potatoes. The food looked good on display, however the actual eating was quite different. Because it wasn't busy the food had been sitting in the warmers for a while. As a result the chicken & potatoes were pretty mushy, no texture or bite. The cous cous was doughy. Honestly the roast chicken at one of the big box stores is better. Got a pastel de nata for dessert which was pretty good. The ladies serving were very friendly & helpful & kept the inside dining counter pretty clean.
