When you walk down the stairs & into La Panzeria, you feel as though you are stepping into Puglia in Italy. Every dish is authentic, homemade & delicious. One of the best & most authentic dining experiences in Montreal!
Petite trattoria en'basement' rue Saint-Denis, qu'on pourrait manquer cent fois en passant devant. Pourtant, l'atmosphère est chaleureuse, la cuisine revigorante, le service enthousiaste. Parfums des Pouilles, accents du Sud, café ristretto, sauce tomate bien relevée : on y prendrait vite ses habitudes, en alternant pâtes foccaccias & autres spécialités. Impeccable & gourmand à la fois, qui dit mieux ?

The focaccia was outstanding, easily one of the highlights of the meal. & a special mention for the Bari Ice Tea-a cocktail I had never tried before & an absolute must-try.

Extremely disappointing! We are tourists from Ontario & had high expectations for the restaurant. However, tonight's experience was terrible. We went straight to the restaurant after getting off the plane because Google Maps indicated it was open today! But when we arrived at 7 pm, it was closed. We were really disappointed! Why couldn't Google Maps have marked it more clearly?

I love the pistachio pesto pasta soooo much! The foccacia is also amazing. This is one of my favorite places in Montreal & I go for special occasions. Most of the menu includes dairy so be aware of that! Not the place for someone who is dairy free but otherwise it is a must go!!!!! 10/10 menu 10/10 service :)
