A hip & lively restaurant with a superbly talented kitchen & meticulous service staff. We loved the format of the sharing plates & especially enjoyed the daily special of choice lamb cuts! A pleasant evening all around!

Service is perfect. The staff is very attentive. Shoutout to the server who refilled my glass 6 times , not letting me stay dehydrated.
Food- the menu changes frequently so you need to check the website for latest menu. Some dishes are also served by piece - like the caviar with potato knish.
We ordered 4 dishes:
- mackerel on sesame rice with horse radish (our favourite. Great flavour)
- red dates with foie gras & pistachio (this was fantastic, it's on the sweeter side but it has wonderful flavours)
- morcilla with peppers (this is very similar to Korean blood sausages . Peppers were great)
- veal sweetbread (unique flavours. The little bits of meat were a bit too salty. It overpowered the natural flavours)
My adult daughter & I had a fantastic meal & a fantastic time at Beba. We sat at the bar & had amazing service. The food was just outstanding. Absolutely fantastic experience.
Unforgettable dinning night in Montreal?Love the Caviar topped Knish?Swordfish & Dates stuffed with foie gras the most. The foie gras mousse was so smooth, pairing perfectly with the sweetness of the dates. Finished the meal with pistachio semifreddo?nutty, refreshing, & the perfect sweet ending.
The restaurant isn't big, but it feels cozy. The service was wonderful too: when they noticed we might have ordered a bit too much, they kindly offered to make one dish a half-portion. Little details like this make the experience so thoughtful. Definitely will come back agian?
Excellent food, service & ambiance. Our reservation was at the bar which granted us the added experience of watching the food & drinks prepared! The menu is designed to be shared; however the person sitting next to us at the bar had come in on her own & they provided the option for 1/2 portions of everything so that she could still experience a variety of dishes without waste. Very impressed & looking forward to a return visit.
Not only did we have one of the single best bites of our eating lives, we had one of the best meals of our lives. The mackerel (the bite)is a miracle. If you are lucky enough to get a reservation - go. everything from the service to the Grateful Dead music could not be improved.
We dined with our 6 month old in our lap & the restaurant was graciously accommodating of our party. My wife is a celiac & they carefully explained all the menu items & modifications possible. Exceptional restaurant, delicious food & a new favourite!
In this category of elevated comfort food, Beba is the place to visit. Phenomenal dishes, impeccable service. I went 2 nights in a row. The 3rd visit a few months later didn't disappoint. The originality remains with unique flavours.
Unbelievably terrific. This is a neighborhood restaurant that could thrive in any location. The brother-owners have created a welcoming atmosphere, but the menu is what they want to cook. & they're awesome cooks. The fish dishes were great, & the meat was Montreal flavor without being overly rich. Really great. Thanks for having us.
