First thing I noticed walking into this restaurant was that it's got no ambiance. Neon lighting & sterile looking tables on either side of a long narrow room have about as much atmosphere as an operating room. Now that wouldn't really matter too much if the food & service were excellent, but they're not. I'm truly sorry to say this because the food is not bad, in fact it's even mediocre, & the prices are very reasonable. But then there are many excellent Indian restaurants in Montreal & also with good prices. Perhaps it was a bad night, this happens sometimes everywhere. I went with pretty high expectations, partly because of the reviews I saw here & that may be why I felt so disappointed. If you live in the neighborhood & are craving Indian food & don't want to spend much & you don't care about atmosphere or good service, then this place would be fine. Otherwise head to the West Island or Park-Ex.Voir plus

My favourite Indian restaurant in the area. This is basically a weekly stop for me & I’m always satisfied. Good food, quick service & reasonable price, especially their lunch specials. They also have many vegetarian options & are more than capable to adapt them to make them vegan. I always ask for the vegetarian thali with no butter & roti instead of naan.

Super restaurant indien! Nous avons pris le tikka masala, butter chicken & des naan (ail & nature)! Tout était très bon, mention spéciale au tikka masala & aux naans qui étaient divinement bons! La nourriture était épicée comme il faut! Vous pouvez amener votre alcool! Le service était très rapide & le personnel était très gentil. Je recommande Namaste Inde !Voir plus
