Afficher toutindian(67) recommend(45) chicken(32) naan(26) price(23) combo(22) poulet(22) highly recommend(21) tasty(20) authentic(19) verdun(18) spicy(16)Not as good as the reviews say. The naan & biryani were a good size. Biryani had a good amount of meat. The mix tandoori plate was very small for the price & taste was ok. Poulet 65 was so small for the price, very disappointing. Better off ordering another biryani for 2$ more & have twice the amount of meat. Overall much better & authentic Indian places to eat at in Montreal for cheaper & better taste.
'Loved everything I tried here - Smoky Tandoori Chicken Leg, Soya Masala Chaap, Garlic Naan, & Plain Naan. Fresh, flavorful, & authentic! Definitely recommend Namaste India.'

Decent food, missing that authenticity in the taste. Naan was 10/10
Excellent service & courtois.
Definitely the worst Indian food I ever had in Montreal. Chicken tikka masala was not the way it was supposed to be. the garlic naan & paneer kulcha were very average. Extremely disappointed. It started getting too warm inside in a while
My boyfriend & I ordered butter chicken & garlic naan bread 10/10
I love this little restaurant, I've been coming here for years & it's my favorite spot for food along Wellington :) everything is always fresh, abundant, & they always kindly ask what level of spiciness you want.
Their lunch special is also one of the best deals in town! $14-15 for a generous & varied Thali, with perfect naan.
I highly recommend stopping by!
This is the second time my friends & I have dined here & both times have been excellent. The service is friendly, professional & quick. The tandoori platters are generous portions & the flavours are delicious. I recommend the garlic naan & the mango shake as well. Will definitely be coming back again.
Small, well kept, cozy place serving delicious Indian food. Various meats, & vegetarian options are served with rice & pickled sides. Plates can be accommodated to a certain extent. They also offer spicy dishes. I love their tandoori chicken cubes, as well, as their whole leg piece. Their garlic naan is generous in its toping & plates are generous. Overall, in my opinion, Namaste Inde will not disappoint & will not empty your wallet. So, if you feel for Indian food in Verdun, try Namaste Indie. If dinning in you can also spirits.
Great spot for Indian food overall! The naan was absolutely amazing-fresh & fluffy. The biryani was flavorful & nicely spiced. The butter chicken wasn't the best I've had, but still decent. The flexibility to choose your preferred type of meat with different stew sauce & spice level was a great feature. Portions were fine. Staff were friendly & welcoming. BYOW is a bonus, especially being right across from the SAQ. Ambience is just okay, but the food & nice staff make up for it!
Service was extremely slow, we waited over 45 minutes to receive our main course. All the food was mediocre, subpar, or even came cold. The Chana masala just tasted like chickpeas with a tomato sauce, the daal soup came lukewarm & tasted mediocre with 0 hints of cumin. The butter chicken mostly tasted like cream. The naan bread was alright.
Most amazing Indian food that I have ever had. Fresh Naan, great spices. Just spicy enough. Definitely recommend
we stopped at the restaurant on our way home to toronto & had a great dining experience! everything was delicious, I didn't even have time to take pictures of the dishes! the garlic naan is delicious & made from scratch. Murg Malai Chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy in the middle. the service is fast & the waiters are friendly.
This was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I got the combo for 1 person & a lamb biryani. Let me begin with the flavors, every single part of the combo was incredibly flavorful. What stood out for me was the butter chicken, this level of tastiness should be illegal for real, I HIGHLY recommend it. The vegetable curry of the day was also so incredible, I am sad that I don't know the name of it though. The garlic naan was crazy good too. Everything was delicious. Also, they are generous with the portions, so I am more than satisfied. The place was very clean & the workers are super friendly! There are lots of places to sit comfortably at the restaurant. I highly recommend you try the place at least once so you hopefully get what I have just experienced. Try the combo, try it!!!!
Amazingly authentic indian food. Hands down the best indian restaurant i've tried on the island of montreal, & im from here so i've tried many. Great flavors, not greasy nor overly salty like other indian restaurants -- just real good flavors, amazing rice, great naan, fun atmosphere, & good service with a smile.
