They call themselves Pizzaria Napoleon. Actually it has nothing to do, with a southern Italy taste experience.
First we ordered Moretti Bier - Darf was not available ,bottles were sold out... They tried to sell an Italian Bier in cans called'Fanelli' which is not known in Italy.
Well, than I ordered some'Aranchini' with beef/pork - I got them with spinach. They replaced it afterwards with the correct order... Taste, so lala.
We ordered Pizza'Charlevoix' - supposed to be spicy with the famos sausage'Nduja'.
Well, the first one was totally burned (unfortunately I forgot to take a picture from the the black bottom), so me & my colleagues returned the pizza. We got another one... Not burned - but it has nothing to do with a southern Italian pizza from Napoli.
The famous sausage was a salami slice (four of them) - the real version cannot be sliced at all - because it is totally soft & tender.
Unfortunately one of my colleagues is from Napoli - Italy, & it was her worst pizza experience ever in a very long time.
If you do not know what might be the real taste... It is ok to eat here.
But that is what you will get in a European fast food restaurant run by an asian family.
Service... Restaurant just opened - only a hand full guests... Took them forever to show up at the table.
Loved this place! Had a prosciutto & fig pizza & ceasar salad, couple cocktails
We had an amazing dining experience at Pizzéria NO.900 - Vieux-Montréal! The atmosphere is warm & inviting, striking the perfect balance between rustic charm & modern elegance.
One of the highlights for us was the arancini cheese & spinach balls-my girlfriend's favorite! Crispy on the outside, rich & flavorful on the inside, they were absolutely delicious. We also loved their gluten-free pizza, which had an incredible crust that didn't compromise on taste or texture. Plus, the variety of fresh veggies & toppings made it easy to customize our meal just the way we like it.
If you're looking for authentic, high-quality pizza with fantastic gluten-free & vegetarian options, this place is a must-visit in Old Montreal. Highly recommend!
Tucked away in a cozy corner, this small but inviting pizzeria delivers a taste of Naples with its exceptional Neapolitan-style pizza. Perfect for a midweek lunch, the star of the show is undoubtedly the dough-light, airy, & with just the right amount of chew. The toppings are fresh & high-quality, enhancing each bite without overpowering the delicate balance of flavors.
While the pizza was a triumph, the arancini fell slightly short of expectations, arriving a little too burnt for enjoyment. However, this was a minor misstep in an otherwise excellent meal.
Service was both fast & friendly, a welcome touch in a space that, while small, exudes warmth & charm. Be mindful of the limited seating, but rest assured that if you choose to dine here, you'll leave satisfied. A solid choice for an authentic pizza experience that doesn't disappoint.
Mild italien sausage was the best pizza. The place is kind of cramped, the Griffintown one has better ambiance
The restaurant is in a great spot. The vibe was amazing, but unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy the pizza we ordered. It was burnt & not what I had hoped for. I could tell the ingredients were fresh, & the sauce-to-cheese ratio was decent. I'm not sure if I'll give it another shot, though.
Sorry !
It is our favourite pizza in Montreal, we visit every time we are in town.
This is the closest to Italian pizza I've found since I was in Italy. The gluten-free crust is fantastic.
Warm & welcoming atmosphere, fantastic food, & truly exceptional service. Simply an amazing casual dining experience, & I would give them 6 stars if I could. From the moment we walked in the door, it was like we were the only customers in the restaurant. We can't recommend this establishment & their team highly enough.
