The place is very cozy & well decorated, but I was very disappointed by their slow service. They're food was very average. I'd recommend it to those who's trying to study & grab a cup of coffee in a cozy spot.
This was my second visit to this café, although the decor is quaint, pretty lights with indoor trees & plants. A blend of Bombay like decor, this place has fallen very short as far as food, quality & service. Very basic. For the first time in my dining experience anywhere I have had to stop a waiter 8 times the to make sure that I had what I ordered (because they got it wrong 2e ice) & everything I needed like my coffee on refill, jam, ketchup & milk. I ordered a plain breakfast plate with poached eggs that were undercooked. The sourdough bread was stale & the taste was awful. I also ordered a slice of pecan pie ( that I took only 1 bite out of & the waitress didn't even ask if I wanted to take away or if it was satisfactory ) & this too was not fresh & the taste extremely disappointing & bland at best. As I waited with dirty plates in front of me for almost an hour after I had done eating was I only then presented with a question if I wanted the bill. Quite frankly overpriced for simplicity of what I ordered & no quality. Needless to say, I will not be returning here again especially when this busy street offers a variety of places & cafés to eat at for the same price.
They say it's the worst world coffee & you are definitely waiting for your drinks & food for a good while. Even considering this factor, I did like this place & food & drinks were really good.
Tennessee provided amazing service, & brought me my hat when I didn't realize I dropped it under the table 💚 thank you so much! Great place to go to for a quick coffee, super affordable & ample seating outside, would recommend.
The best experience ever . Last week came with my mother-in-law & a friend we had breakfast . What a fantastic day first the waitress GRACE absolutely amazing my mother in law & friend 89yeats old couldn't believe how attentive & the excellent service we received. We asked for some milk usual you need to ask a few times,place is busy you can forget but not Grace she was back immediately. Breakfast arrived quickly & was delicious . The place was busy but Grace had it under control & a smile on her face. We asked for extra coffee didn't have to wait .Grace thank you 😉 The best Breakfast ever . Bravo Pigeon cafe we will be back . Grace is a keeper .

Went today in the morning, Shakshukas & the atmosphere were really good, but the service wasn't up to the task: #1 they took about 25mins without taking our order until we needed to get up & call one of the waiters; #2 we requested a baby chair from minute one, but they also forgot to bring it, & again, we needed to get up to remind them; #3 one of us ordered a regular coffee, but got an americano with some kind of chocolate cake, which apparently was ordered by our neighbor table, one more time, we needed to get up & call one of the waiters so they could take the coffee & cake back; #4 we also ordered a salad, but we didn't get it along with the main dishes because the waiter forgot to put it in the order, though he managed to get it quite quick, probably in less than 5mins; #5 got the impression that the waiters serving our table had nearly no experience, or they weren't happy about their job, or maybe both; all waiters serving our table had a "I don't care" attitude. Pigeon Caffe has great food, its in an amazing location, & have a cozy atmosphere, I'll come back for sure, but hopefully management takes this review into account
Service was good to start then got quite slow. We were seated immediately & given coffee/tea quickly. That's where it went downhill. The restaurant had one guy doing the door & seating people, taking orders & doing the bills. He was good but constantly on the go whereas the other employees seemed to be wandering around not doing nearly as much. Food was alright, however no cutlery, ketchup, salt or pepper on the table or butter served with bagel.
2024.04↘️ Lovely place. But... like the name, it's like you are in a place full of pigeons twittering loud! If you are looking for a quiet space, that isn't here. Only for social, & that is a little hard if you don't yell a little. 🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🙉🗣 Nice coffee & good food. ☕🥘👍🏻👏🏻 Service .... so-so. 🤷🏻♀️ Depending on the waiter. ▪▪▪ 2024.06 ↘️ They don't really clean the tables or being quick & efficient even in an empty restaurant! Prices look expensive for a piece of small cake & a small cup of coffee.

This place is a nice place to sit but the branch managers are trying their best to push people away ! Weirdly I had the same experience in two of their locations. The managers act "too busy" don't wanna even talk to you, it's like trying to meet a celebrity! First time was when I wanted to book a birthday party & manager straight up told me he's busy & walked away , had to chase him & talk while walking , didn't even reply before going to the back !!! & 2nd time when I came with a business guest at 11:30 pm & we just wanted to have coffee but they said everything is reserved starting 12, & I wanted to plead with manager to have a cup of coffee & leave before 12 but he wouldn't even hear me !! It's sad , I like thier atmosphère in both places & their servers seem to be nice people . I had a takeaway from this place once & food & coffee was average tbh
My friends & I went to Pigeon Cafe for coffee/tea & dessert. The cookies were delicious & the service was great! Lindsey was friendly & gave us recommendations for fun things to do in Montreal.

Located on a busy & trendy street with a variety of restaurants. At 1 pm on a Saturday, we got the last available table although we seem to be the last of the lunch rush as tables became available as we ate. Quite loud...not a place for quiet conversation. Food & coffee was exceptional & service was very accommodating. A bit pricy for lunch, but worth it.
Je suis allé•e ici pour brunch avec des ami•es. Nous avons pris les flat whites, le sabich Benedict, le merguez shakshuka, le waffle fries & le halloumi & labneh (& du café bien sûr)! Tout était délicieux! 🤤 Le décor est chique 👌 & il faut arriver tôt pour avoir des sièges en plein air (c'est lourd à l'intérieur). I went here with friends we had flat whites, sabich Benedict, merguez shakshuka, waffle fries, & halloumi & labneh (& coffee of course)! Everything was yummy 🤤 & decor was chique. 👌 Make sure to arrive early to get seats outside. Bonus: Les plats à l'entrée sont drôles & il y a une murale de Larry David. Les toilettes individuels & musique 🎵 The plates at the entrance are funny & there is a mural of Larry David. Single stall toilets & music 🎶 il y a des chaises hautes pour les enfants. High chairs for kids.
Poor service. Had to ask several times for my filter coffee order. They forgot our food & when it came it was cold. Took one bite of rubbery eggs & put it aside. Overpriced, poor service & bad food. What’s to like?
Nobody wanted a restaurant with overpriced thematic sandwiches & ironically "careless" service. We just want our bagel & spread with a coffee at a modest price. I think to sum this place up, everyone still misses St Viateur bagel.
