Oh my goodness! Pictured in this review is the Valentine's cake & Easter cakes. The subtle essences, multi-dimensional tastes & presentation that compose their crusts, creams & compotes are poetry for all your senses.
My favourite place for cakes/pastries in Montreal. They don't have a walk-in store anymore so you have to preorder what you want online but it is worth it. The flavour & texture of the cakes are balanced perfectly & look beautiful. I love the combination of flavours & textures, & they are not overly sweet. The bread is also good too! Will come back again. They also sell frozen savoury food like pasta & pie but I have not tried them.
High quality pastries. Everything is well balanced & tastes delicious. Must try shop for those who have never been.
Excellent food & service. Pastries are unique & made with the best ingredients & technique. You can't go wrong. Some of the best croissants & baked goods anywhere, if not the best croissant in the city. I've tried many all over the city looking for the best. Incredibly flaky, buttery but not greasy & oily especially if you wait a little after they come out of the oven (be patient) & airy. Bonus, they are huge. They are pricey but so worth it. They're irresistible, scrumptious & so so satisfying. They will make your day. Impossible not to eat one before you get home.
Best pastries we had during our stay in Montreal. If it's not currently in your plans it should be.
