Superbe endroit très bien situé avec une terrasse extérieure relativement grande & un décor intérieur très sympathique. Grand choix de bières & surtout des goûts très diverses. Un petit bémol pour la nourriture qui est chère vu la portion & la qualité moindre. On aimerait avoir la possibilité de commander des vrais pichets.
Super belle terrasse proche du canal lachine mais tout autant intime, c'était une belle découverte. Je recommande le cocktail à la mangue dont j'ai oublié le nom lol 🍹
Musique un peu forte pour discuter entre amis. Bouffe très bien mais rien de spectaculaire, quoi que les frites étaient vraiment bonnes. Service minimal mais amical.
We arrived at 6:30pm on a Monday & ordered 3 side food right away. At 8pm we still had no food on our table, we decided to leave when the waiter (who was nice, thankfully) told us nothing was ready in the kitchen for us. Maybe they should recruit more staff in the kitchen so this does not happen, waiting 1h30 to get fries & halloumi is crazy.

I had the halloumi which was criminally underseasoned, but the rest of the food seemed pretty decent. Their cocktails were also quite good. The atmosphere is amazing! Lots of different types of games, from board games to pool/pingpong & arcade games. I learned how to play Mortal Kombat on an arcade machine :)
Hier j'étais ma première foie & j'ai tellement aimé cet endroit en famille. La bière est excellente & le manger également. Le service était un peu long à cause qui avait beaucoup de monde, mais tous les serveurs était vraiment sympathique. Je recommande cet endroit sans hésiter.
Good food, but very poor service from a number of the young male servers. They didn't seem to care, & had zero urgency. Waited a long time to order, then to get the food.
Je suis allé avec mon ami manger chez Mémento & c'était excellent. On a pris chacun hamburger & de la bière. C'était délicieux & le service était bon malgré le fait qu'il y avait vraiment beaucoup de clients. Quand il fera plus chaud nous allons revenir & manger sur la terrasse. Une mention spéciale pour la décoration originale. C'est vraiment cool 👌😎😎

After waiting an hour for our food, we asked our server about it, & got 3 different responses from 3 different people (it's on the way, there was a machine glitch, the power went out), followed by another 30 minutes of waiting. The manager then tried to give us free shots (we had mostly ordered non alcoholic drinks before) & then after we told them we don't drink, offered another round of free drinks & took our order. Not 10 minutes later, ANOTHER server comes to RETAKE our drink order. We finally get our food, & the server didn't bother to bring napkins or cutlery (we were having SALAD). We had to ask multiple times for extra utensils & ended up having to split 2 napkins between the 5 of us. Not to mention, the manager disciplined his servers within earshot, followed by the servers complaining & clearly not taking responsibility for their poor performance. This is one of the worst services I've ever experienced, which is too bad considering the lovely ambiance & great food.
Waiter was very nice but some dishes we bordered didn't even get to our table & others got to the table very late. The worst thing was that my vegetarian daughter got a real meat from hamburger instaead of the veggie hamburger!! & after waiting 15 more minutes for getting the veggie hamburger is was with cheese even though we asked without :/ I will definitely never try this place again
An awesome place with a friendly atmosphere, lots of games to play, great beer, great food, & lots of space! The beautiful location right by the canal makes it even better!
I came here for the first time last night to celebrate my 21st birthday, & it absolutely surpassed my (already high) expectations. I booked a table for 15 people & expected to have a table downstairs or something, so of course I was surprised to find out that we got an entire private room upstairs to ourselves???!!! The room was decorated, had several tables, an arcade game, a water station, & even a coat rack, which was so convenient. We did have to go downstairs to the bar to order/pick up our orders, but that was no problem at all.
In terms of the place in general, it has such a great atmosphere! It's like a bar/pub/arcade/lounge combined into one, & whether you just want to grab a drink with friends or play games, there's so much to do. They provide board games for you to play at your table, & there are also many arcade games like Mortal Kombat both upstairs & downstairs (you don't have to pay to play them), & even a ping pong table & archery on the second floor. & if you're like me & obsessed with taking a million photos, this place is perfect for you because there are so many great spots to do a photoshoot (& there's so much cool decor). The place is also right next to the Lachine Canal, which is a beautiful spot!
The food was amazing as well! I ordered the OG burger with fries & a mango ginger beer (forgot what the drink was called), & both were so good (the poutines also looked delicious & I'll probably get one next time!)
Overall, I had such an amazing experience having my birthday at Memento, & all of my friends in my group had so much fun as well! I brought a cake to put in the fridge & there were no issues with that; everything went smoothly. The staff was all so nice & one staff member even took polaroid photos for us (for free) that I got to keep, which was another awesome surprise. I'll definitely be back soon & I'll recommend this place to any of my friends who are looking for places to have their birthday party. Thank you so much to everyone at Memento for making this such a fun & memorable night!!! :D & special thanks to Oceane for answering all my initial questions & helping with booking! :)
*Side note: If you're looking to book a party here, especially on a Friday or Saturday, DO IT ASAP, like minimum two weeks in advance. It was Monday & I was trying to book for Friday, but all the tables were fully reserved in the evening so I ended up booking for Sunday instead (which ended up being better honestly, & no problem but just book in advance so you don't run into any issues!)
Atmosphere was nice but what ruined it is the waiter after we ordered he told us'CHEERS guys' so we all look at him, then his ipad flashed which i assume he took a picture of us . He never asked us if it's ok, which is very sneaky. It's a poor practice. I assume they do it in case people leave without paying the bill but their approch is bad to solving this problem. Also the beers mostly good but all of them were not cold enough.
This place has a lively & welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed, fun evening. The charcuterie board was really good - great selection & flavors - & the fries were crispy & delicious. There are enough games to keep everyone entertained while you eat & drink, & we ended up spending hours playing, chatting, & laughing together. The service was friendly & attentive, & the overall atmosphere just feels right for a good time with friends. Highly recommend checking it out.
