La Bêtise creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere with attentive service and a tapas style concept that encourages sharing, making it easy to sample a range of flavors. Fresh seafood bites and well crafted dishes stand out, from oysters to dumplings and tartare, while the wine and cocktails complement the meal and the terrace and overall vibe invite continued visits.
Beautifully decorated restaurant. Excellent service by the staff: helpful & amiable. The most stunning platter of seafood was presented (oysters, crab bites, tuna tataki, salmon tartare, & grilled octopus), plus on the side salad & fries. Every single bite of our platter was very delicious. Cocktails on the other side like mojito, sour amaretto & bloody cesar were tasting on the sweet side. We ended our dinner with desserts of churros & the best fried bueno with ice cream & topped with hazelnuts. It was expensive but worth it.
This place is sooo good. It was my 2nd time coming here with my boyfriend & it was fantastic. The service was great! We got a beer which tasted a little off so we told the bartender & the manager came over poured us a new pitcher & on top of that gave us a a free pint of beer. The steak & fries is so good only thing we noticed was that the portion was a little smaller.

Le meilleur tatare de saumon! & j'adore les huîtres à 1$ , le seule point négatif est l'attente desfois un peu longue. Mais pour le reste tout est toujours bon
Bonne bouffe & bonne ambiance. Service attentionnée. Nous aurions aimé être averti qu'il n'y avait plus d'huîtres à la porte car c'était notre raison d'y aller mais, à la fin nous avons été ravis quand même!
On été en groupe, on a commandé 5 services & seulement le tartare de saumon été correct le reste était pas du tout bon , les calamars fades , macaronis au fromage ordinaires…. L'ambiance est bonne & un des serveurs , le jeune a lunette été vraiment adorable

The service was impeccable. The calamars were good nothing special. The plateau of seafood was good though expensive for the portions. The tuna taki was my favourite. The crab pieces were also very tasty.
The octopus was a huge disappointment, there was one small piece, that is it! Very chewy (it is the kind of octopus) & served with Brussels sprouts, so it dominates the taste of the whole dish.
Went on a random weekday & there was plenty of space available. They follow a tapas-style concept, so everything is meant to be shared, with small plates ranging from $25-$30 😅. Honestly, that seems to be the new norm at restaurants these days, so if you're ready to splurge a bit for smaller portions, this could be your spot.
The food was really good🫶🏼no complaints at all. I loved everything we tried. Service was great too, but we were the only ones there, so I'm not sure how it is when it gets busy. Overall, it was a good experience, but with the portion sizes versus the price, I'm not sure I'd go back.

La nourriture est bonne, le menu pourrait être plus varié, peu de choix pour les personnes qui n'aiment pas les fruits de mer. Les frites sont à déguster absolument, un vrai régal ! Le tartare de saumon est bien, trop de sauce, mais les saveurs sont appréciables. Les dumplings au veau sont bons. La présentation est belle. La terrasse est accueillante. Malheureusement, le service est à améliorer. Erreurs par-dessus erreurs, le service doit être fait d'une façon professionnelle & ce n'était pas le cas. La chasse de la toilette était brisée & inaccessible. Les tables étaient collantes, on se sentait en nouvelle Orléans, tout manquait de soins. Nous avons décidé de donner une 2e chance & aucun regret, vous êtes passé de 3 étoiles à 5 étoiles. Notre serveur était aux petits soins avec nous. WoW ! La nourriture était meilleure, encore trop de sauce dans le tartare & le tataki de thon, mais le chou-fleur est le meilleur que j'ai mangé à Montréal. Les dumplings à l'agneau sont très bien, les bouchées de crabe superbe & le carré d'agneau parfaitement cuit. Une belle expérience, nous allons revenir assurément.
Nous avons pris plusieurs plats à partager, la nourriture est délicieuse, le service est très rapide & l'ambiance du restaurant est excellente, avec une très belle décoration. Mention spéciale pour les cocktails qui sont excellents ! Nous reviendrons assurément
I organized my fiance's 40th birthday party at la bêtise & it was amazing. The food, the service, the drinks, the price; everything was great. They were very accommodating with all my requests & all night they checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory. Thanks for much Doug & Kevin! 10/10 recommend.
