La Bétise in Verdun in a lovely place. The service is always nice, & the food is always delicious. We're a big fan of the scallop & crab bites as they are some of our favourites, but everyone will find something they like in the menu.

Endroit sympathique & conviviale dans un décors de brasserie française. Formule tapas misant sur des classiques. Manque un peu de recherche dans les saveurs & carte de vin un peu simpliste. Demeure une option intéressante dans Verdun.
I usually go to Betise Rosemont but wanted to try the MTL a Table menu here. The tuna app & octopus were both very good & the meat options were decent but I felt like they were really missing the wine pairing to be better. However, I was disappointed with the service. Our waiter just really seemed like he didn't want to be there. He was very slow to come around & never asked us if we wanted more drinks or anything so all we had to drink other than water were the cocktails we ordered at the beginning. I guess we saved money, but I would have liked some wine with dinner. We asked to split everything but no small plates were brought & he completely forgot about our coffee with dessert too. When we brought up the fact that we'll forget about the coffee he didn't even apologize or seem sorry he just said yes it's too late. I will say that the table beside us was loud & obnoxious & seemed to have had an argument with him at some point but he was still slow & inattentive before the argument so I don't think that's the whole story. Anyways, I'll probably continue going to La Betise Rosemont instead of Verdun.
Tartare de saumon & macncheese bon! Chou-fleur tempura excellent! Frites trop molles, un choix regrettable pour tout le groupe. Je ne remangerais pas leurs huîtres, trop petites, ne goûtent rien. Ambiance & service ok. Préfère de loin La Bêtise de Rosemont, malgrés que celui de Verdun est plus grand.

Superbe endroit à Verdun. Beau restaurant, belle terrasse. La bouffe est très bonne & le service impeccable.Nous avons commandé les edamames, les pleurotes & les bouchées au crabe, & tout était succulent. Allez faire un tour, ça vaut le détour !
Comme toujours, belle expérience chez La Bêtise Verdun! Les employés sont souriants, serviables & toujours attentionnés. Les repas sont délicieux, bel endroit pour commander un peu de tout & partager!
Assis au bar, un petit peu bruyant, mais on nous a accepté sans réservation avec beaucoup de gentillesse malgré que l'on soit arrivé au moment du rush. Le service est impeccable, c'est la troisième fois que l'on vient on n'est JAMAIS DÉÇU ! Service par Danny au bar, demandez le ! Les boissons sont bonnes, le vin aussi. La cuisine est excellente, je recommande fortement le menu « Montréal à Table », mention spéciale pour les desserts plus qu'incroyables. Petite pépite dans Verdun, une adresse à ne pas manquer 🫶🏻
Toujours un excellent service lorsque nous visitons La Bêtise Verdun! Les repas sont délicieux & l'ambiance est au rendez-vous. C'est un incontournable pour nous!

This is my new favorite spot in Verdun! The food was delicious & the cocktails were original. I've never had octopus cooked that way before & I absolutely enjoyed every bite. Our server & bartender were friendly & welcoming...
Bonjour nous avons l'habitude d'aller régulièrement manger à La Bêtise à Rosemont & nous avons été toujours très satisfaits des plats & de l'expérience client. Malheureusement, nous avons été très déçu de celui de Verdun. Les plats nous ont été servis tous en même temps. Tous les plats etaient trop vinaigrés & baignaient dans leur sauce. La fraicheur des aliments était douteuse comme le tartare de saumon. Les plats semblaient avoir été préparés d'avance. Les crevettes n'etaient pas assez cuites non plus. Le pad thaï à la courge était tiède, peu savoureux avec du tofu trop dur & inmangeable. L'expérience fut bien décevante. Nous retournerons seulement à la Bêtise de Rosemont.

Quel plaisir de voir le resto se rempli de gens souriants & heureux de pouvoir à socialiser sans restrictions Covid!! Le port du masque demeure obligatoire mais plus besoin de présenter le passeport vaccinal.
Nous avons mangé des huitres (1$ chq les mardi & jeudi) -- elles étaient bonnes mais vraiment petites!! Le chou-fleurs frits est Malade (Soooo good!) & le tartare de boeuf était bien aussi. Pour ce qui est des cocktails, ils sont tjrs à point !! Love La Bêtise - Verdun, the staff is always awesome too ;)
Resto de tapas super sympathique ! Tout nous porte à y retourner...décor, ambiance relaxe mais animée & super bonne bouffe...& notre serveur Dany le meilleur ! Un incontournable à Verdun !
My favourite restaurant on Wellington street in Verdun. Had the lamb, cauliflower, Mac & cheese, oysters, & drinks last night with a friend who'd never been & is a foodie & he was wowed the whole way through. & the staff is always just amazing & part of what makes this restaurant so special to me.
As usual La Bétise exceeded expectations. Amazing oysters at 1$, fall off the bone ribs(definitely a must have!), perfectly seared tuna, buttery lobster & scallops, balanced & tasty drinks...I will keep coming back. So happy for this restaurant especially in verdun!!! The wait staff are attentive & knowledgeable the music & ambiance makes you feel at home. This restaurant is honestly a gem. You gotta eat there.
