Latte & karaage sando were fantastic but I wouldn't recommend the tomago sando. Just a lot of sauce & bread with one boiled egg lol.
A bit of a nice discovery, especially for those egg sandwiches & that blue mist drink. I've visited in winter so I didn't get to experience their outdoor terrace, but inside it was packed. If I remember correctly you order with the cashier & they bring your order to your table after.
Nice place for brunch. It was very crowded on the weekends. Luckily, the weather was nice outside & we stayed in the terrasse. They have one of the best coffee machines from Italy & the milk they use is whole fat milk. Perfect for a flat white & matcha latte. They know their stuffs. The bread of the sandwiches were a little dried. I guess it was not as fresh as I imagined it. Ordered the chicken & the eggs sandwiches. Delicious 🤤 wish they out more chicken though
Lovely space & design, it looks like a modern cafeteria & lots of space to study. Though they do limit your time to just 2 hours on their wifi. Would recommend getting their sandwich & doing some work while drinking a coffee. Got the egg sando sandwich which was nice though some sauce would have really given it more flavor.
The cafe has a nice concept. I tried the famous Tamago Egg Sandwich & chicken sandwich & was quite impressed. The rice curry was not bad. I would probably return when visiting Montreal. Would definitely recommend to my friends to try this place out 🩷👍
The chicken karaage was delish. However the egg sandwich was a let down. Way too much bread towards the end, the sauce didn't taste really good & it was heavy overall, as the egg is breaded.
Egg sando & Hojicha latte & sleek space & hottie barista, new MTL fave spot for sure
Came here for lunch with a friend to catch up. Loved it! The karaage sandwich was delicious!! I loved the mayo spread & marinade. The bread was subtly sweet & soaked up the flavors of the sauce well. I tried a bite of the tamago egg sandwich as well, which had less textures going on (the filling was just egg & mayo) but delicious nonetheless. Atmosphere was great for a little chat, & I stayed after to get some work done too. Lively but not too distracting. I would highly recommend this cafe! @thehungry.sheep
Food is decent & it has a big portion but takes a while to make (it takes about 20min for a sandwich). If you're going to order the egg sando, add salmon & curry since the egg itself is too creamy (unless you like them that way). The atmosphere is nice, but music is loud (idk if that's supposed to be the vibe of the place)
Atmosphere was really cool & I was really looking forward to visiting this place considering I'm Japanese & love tasting authentic Japanese cuisine. However my partner didn't receive his cappuccino (they forgot his order) after I paid & tipped. I ordered the egg Sando with salmon & in the middle of the sandwich they put WAY too much mayonnaise & it was also very bland. I ended up getting sick from the amount of mayo in the middle of the sandwich & left early.... Very disappointed as I had much higher expectations about this place.
The overall experience was good. However the drinks that we ordered, the limonade & the matcha latte were not strong enough for me. The matcha tasted almost like green milk. The curé was supper good, the egg sandwich didn't taste anything special, my expectations were kinda high due to instagram. The sandwich does look really good & aesthetic but it isn't worth the hype. But the overall experience was really nice.
Stylish with a great menu. I love their outdoor patio in the summer. Their egg sando is a must try when visiting.
Amazing cafe. The scotch egg sandwich was amazing. The iced matcha latte was also sublime. Also, there were no seats for my friend & I (it's very busy on the weekend) but the barista helped us find a spot & was super sweet.
A must if you're in montreal. We have a very good cafe selection & this one is at the top of the list. The atmosphere & decor are so welcoming & unique. The food is delicious & aesthetically pleasing. I recommend the iced hojicha latte, it's just sweet enough for someone who doesn't like coffee. The egg sandwich is very filling & not expensive for the quantity & quality you are getting. The eff & salmon one is my favourite so far, it's so comforting & tasty.
Came for the egg sandwich, stayed for the CURRY! Egg sando was definitely good, but I was blown away by the depth of flavor in the curry. It was a cold day & it warmed my soul. Will definitely be coming back with friends to show them my cool new find. Chai Latte was epic. Wish I took pictures, everything looked great, but I was super hungry haha
Great egg sandwich, but the drinks are a bit watered down & pricy for what they are. Really cool place to work or study though.
