Osmo X Marusan comes across as a stylish, vibrant cafe in downtown Montreal with a lively vibe, strong coffee and a notable lineup of matcha and hojicha lattes, plus creative Japanese inspired sandwiches such as tamago sando and karaage sando and curry bowls; the space and terrace are great for studying or hanging out, and a casual DJ moment adds to the atmosphere, but the place is often crowded and loud with long waits for food at peak times, and some dishes or portions can feel small or uneven while service can be variable, yet the overall experience centers on the ambiance and drinks and many guests say they would return to try new items.
very artsy place, if ur a music person there's a bunch of albums for sale & occasionally it seems like they have someone in to Dj. Drinks we're very good, food was also good.
loved the sandos, the drinks were also really nice. Would love to come again in the future, very cute spot. A bit hard to find seats though & very crowded

Food is simple & great. Prices are really OK.
Feel free to enjoy a cosy lunch there or dive into a musical experience with food & drinks that you will only get there.
Osmo is definitely a different spot in Montreal & worth trying at least once. I had never seen a coffee shop with Japanese food like this, so the concept alone made it a fun experience.
I really loved the salmon cucumber sandwich, & the miso soup was also very good. Next time I want to try their famous tamago sando. The ambiance is unique & the place feels lively, but it was quite loud & very busy around midday.
The only thing that disappointed me a bit was the drink. I ordered an iced caramel matcha coconut latte with extra sweetener, but I honestly didn't taste much flavor & it didn't taste sweet either. The matcha was just okay for me.
Also good to know: the entrance is a bit hidden, & you can enter from Clark Street.
Overall, it was a nice & different experience, especially for the food & ambient.
This place is literally perfect - amazing drinks, delicious bites, incredible atmosphere. Went here twice during a very short stay in Montreal cause it was that good. My favs were the karaage sando with the curry sauce. You don't need it cause the sandwich on its own is delicious & filling but I liked it with the sauce too. Matcha quality is really good & I loved the house made white rabbit syrup with it - wasn't too sweet but added a great milky ricey flavour to it.

Been wanting to come here for a while & it did not disappoint. It is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch & study while you're at it. However it is a bit noisy so i would not recommend studying here if you get distracted easily.
The food & drinks were amazing! I like their hojicha latte & the curry rice the most but all their other options are amazing as well.
OSMO has now become my favourite cafe in the city! There was good lowkey music, beautiful natural lighting through the sky light, & the food/drinks were top tier. I would recommend this place to go study or to go get coffee with a friend
Beautiful place serving quality drinks & food for a good price. Nice staff, really unique vibe. However, it is super crowded all the time so keep that in mind & come

This place could be better managed. I went there twice but both time the sandwiches are sold out. The second time I went around 1pm… it was not very late for a Saturday. But otherwise very cute place & nice drinks
OSMO X MARUSAN offers modern interior & garden terrace for a summer day hangout.

Young cool hip vibe. This place was a club or a music venue before turning into a cafe? Serving Japanese street dishes, along with specialty drinks. Very popular, & line can be long, but large outdoor seating can accommodate many customers.
Exquisite cafe: the food, the drinks, the vibes. Will be thinking about the egg sando for a while - it's just so perfectly jammy with the right amount of kick with the side of hot sauce. Matcha also deserves a shoutout: you can tell that it's higher quality matcha. Would definitely come try some of their other sandwiches & drinks again! Also worth noting that you can't order the sandwiches until 11AM.
