Original paella & other things.
I am so happy I found a real Spanish paella.
We had a great experience at Montreal Paella. The food was very good, & the taste was excellent. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, & well prepared. The service was also friendly & welcoming. Definitely a place worth visiting if you enjoy authentic paella & Spanish cuisine.
The best Paellas in Montreal, they brought me back to Spain. Everyone reading this must try the Valenciana Paella. I definitely recommend this place & I'll be going back for sure.
Honestly a very good paella, or fideua! Same quality & taste then the one you can eat in Spain!!! The croquettes are made by them & very good too! Nothing frozen! I go eating there anytime I go downtown! Strongly recommended to have a taste of Spain in Montreal Downtown.
Tried Montreal Paella through their online order system, & the whole process was super smooth from start to finish. The website was easy to navigate, ordering was quick, & everything was clearly laid out which made it really convenient.
Pickup was right on time, & the food was still hot & well packaged. The paella was full of flavor, with generous portions & fresh ingredients, you can tell a lot of care goes into it.
Overall, great food & a seamless online ordering experience that makes it easy to enjoy at home. Definitely a spot I would order from again.
We've been to Valencia & have eaten paella & arroz con whatever but this was one of the best experiences ever. Order the jamon iberico. It's not bellota quality but it's delicious with the pan con tomate. Order the croquetas. I wish we had the gildas but we'll leave it to another time. I wish I could have had the fabada asturiana. It being Good Friday, we order Arroz del Senyoret. ¡Ay, Dios mío! Will we be back? Absolutely. & thank you for serving a decent red wine by the glass.
Absolutely love this place. I've been here more than once & it's always worth it in my opinion. The chicken paella is my absolute favorite - the flavor is so good & I genuinely love every ingredient in it.
I also really appreciate how easy it is to navigate the menu with a gluten intolerance, since the gluten-free items are clearly marked. Everything I've tried here has been delicious, including the rice pudding & bravas!
The staff are always super friendly & go above & beyond. On my last visit, our server recommended a glass of white wine that paired perfectly with my paella, which I really appreciated. Definitely one of the places I recommend when people want really good Spanish food in Montreal. Will absolutely be back.
The waitress seemed overwhelmed & unapologetic about the wait of our food.
It took 1 hour to get our paella.
The manager/owner was highly unattentive & literally yelled at us in front of other customers when we complaint why it took so long for our food to be ready.
I will never go back to this place, I don't recommend you to go. Horrible experience
Bra paella och mycket mat. Bra service och trevligt bemötande. Stadsdelen där Restaurangen ligger är värt ett besök.
Food was amazing, the staff were very friendly & the restaurant is cozy! Only complaint is the wait time of 40mins on the paella & not being able to order it in advance, but they do specify it on their menu.
La vraie de vraie paella Valencienne ! Le jamon, les sourires, tout est authentique.
Un régal !
If you like paellas, that's the place ! The service is exceptional, the food is amazing, the place is clean & cozy.
Everything is done on site & super fresh!
Half of my family is Spanish & it feels home !
Thanks 🙏🏻
If you want to eat well at a totally reasonable price for top quality ingredients, go to this place, best paella I have eaten in my life & I have already eaten paellas in Madrid, Bilbao & Barcelona, the anchovies were also delicious, the bread fresh, the patatas bravas perfectly done, the flan also amazing, the service was great too, nothing to complain, nothing to say but thanks, also it was saint valentines & they gave me & my girl a rose & a chocolat, god bless this place & it's cooks & staff
There are many dining options in Montreal. Do yourself a favor & make the right choice & make a reservation at this place.
The chick pea & pork confit stew might make you reexamine your life. I'll be chasing that high for the rest of my life. You might question whether you deserve it or not. The chef assured me that I do indeed deserve it.
Good wine selection. Mushroom & chicken paella was top notch.
I ate most of the appetizers before I took a picture, which I think speaks to their quality.
Un super moment passé dans ce restaurant, la paella es vraiment goûteuse rien a redire , on peut en plus acheter sur place du jambon ibérique de qualité, le prix est pas cher par rapport a la qualité de la nourriture & du service, une belle expérience que je recommande
A Late-Night Gem Serving Unforgettable Flavors!
If you're exploring Montreal & find yourself craving fantastic food after most kitchens have closed, look no further than Montreal Paella! This place is a true savior for night owls & food lovers, proving that late-night eats don't have to be ordinary.
The atmosphere is lively & authentic, making you feel like you've stumbled into a cozy tapas bar in Barcelona. We started with the Pulpo A La Gallega - the octopus was incredibly tender, perfectly smoky, & seasoned with paprika & olive oil that made every bite a small celebration.
But the real star of the show was the Mariscos Paella. Packed with fresh seafood-succulent mussels, clams, shrimp, & more-this dish was an absolute flavor explosion. The saffron-infused rice was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of socarrat (that delicious crispy bottom layer). Every spoonful transported us straight to the Mediterranean coast.
Whether you're ending a night out or simply in the mood for exceptional Spanish cuisine, Montreal Paella delivers on all fronts. I'm already dreaming of my next visit to Montreal just to have another taste. ¡Olé!
