A Late-Night Gem Serving Unforgettable Flavors!
If you're exploring Montreal & find yourself craving fantastic food after most kitchens have closed, look no further than Montreal Paella! This place is a true savior for night owls & food lovers, proving that late-night eats don't have to be ordinary.
The atmosphere is lively & authentic, making you feel like you've stumbled into a cozy tapas bar in Barcelona. We started with the Pulpo A La Gallega - the octopus was incredibly tender, perfectly smoky, & seasoned with paprika & olive oil that made every bite a small celebration.
But the real star of the show was the Mariscos Paella. Packed with fresh seafood-succulent mussels, clams, shrimp, & more-this dish was an absolute flavor explosion. The saffron-infused rice was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of socarrat (that delicious crispy bottom layer). Every spoonful transported us straight to the Mediterranean coast.
Whether you're ending a night out or simply in the mood for exceptional Spanish cuisine, Montreal Paella delivers on all fronts. I'm already dreaming of my next visit to Montreal just to have another taste. ¡Olé!
This paella spot was a pleasure. The host was super kind, the food was great - & authentic (the host was Spanish... & it's not like a guy from India is making the food). I had the seafood paella (marisco) which was served with some mysterious local (to Valencia I'm guessing) sauce that you mix with the rice. I think it was some sort of aioli sauce or spread. I'm happy I ventured into this spot.
Great little spot to grab some authentic Spanish food. Portion sizes were fine, food was lovely & served piping hot. The staff were really friendly & helpful.
This was so authentic I felt like I was back in Valencia, Spain. You gotta eat here....yes, the show should visit this restaurant too.
I found this place very authentic. the food was excellent. i had the octopus as an entree & the Valencia paella & everything was perfect. the service appeared to be family oriented & friendly & always attentive without being too much. I enjoyed my evening very much.
Incredible Spanish cuisine that truly transported us back to Spain! The paellas were absolutely phenomenal-rich, flavorful, & perfectly cooked, just like the ones we had in Barcelona. Every dish was a celebration of authentic Spanish flavors. A must-visit for anyone craving a true taste of Spain & their Paellas.
Note that The paellas are made fresh to order so do expect a 30 minute wait from the time you place order until food arrives.
No other restaurant compares to the quality & the flavor you will find at Montréal Paella. My wife & I first visited this restaurant on a random date night, & we were so enchanted by the experience that we kept coming back time & time again. Our favorite restaurant, with our favorite chefs making our favorite food--authentically from Valencia.
Absolutely love this place! The food is consistently amazing-everything I've tried has been full of flavor, fresh, & clearly made with care. The service is just as impressive; the staff is always friendly, attentive, & genuinely welcoming. I have to give a special shoutout to their crocette-they are next-level delicious. I'm completely obsessed & have probably ordered them at least 20 times by now. If you're looking for authentic, high-quality paella & unforgettable small bites, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
Really truly amazing & authentic yummy food!!! everything we ordered was so good & the service was great, very kind & attentive!!
It was an incredible experience! We ordered the black rice, which was perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, & loaded with fresh seafood. The creamy croquetas were another highlight-crispy on the outside & bursting with flavor inside. The atmosphere was warm & inviting, & the staff were attentive & friendly. If you're looking for an authentic paella experience, this spot is a must-try!
I must say, this was one of my most exceptional experiences in Montreal, despite my girlfriend & I having visited numerous times! The owner & the staff exuded warmth & hospitality, making us feel truly welcomed. When I inadvertently locked my keys in the car (what a blunder that was!), they were quick to assist, helping me contact a mobile locksmith who arrived & unlocked the car in a mere 10 minutes. I am sincerely grateful for their prompt support. As for the cuisine, it was nothing short of outstanding-authentic Spanish flavors, artfully presented, & impeccably seasoned! The grilled octopus was both glamorous & flavorful, while the arroz senyoret was simply immaculate-delicious & breathtaking in every way!
Authentic Spanish food in Montreal. Great service & nice atmosphere. Paella for one person has 3 big shrimps, mussels & calamari! Cooked perfectly as al dante.
This is the first spanish restaurant that I tried in Montréal since I moved in & I absolutely loved it! Authentic paella served by a very nice & friendly team!

This place brought my friend & I back to Spain. Friendly staff, casual setting with a focus on the food. We ordered cod bunuelos, gaspacho & two paellas, black squid ink & seafood. Flavours are rich & authentic. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back!
This place was amazing! It showcased true authentic flavors from the Valencia region of Spain. They specialize in a variety of individual or family style Paellas while offering numerous tapas & small plates. Owner/Chef Marianio Fernandez & his wife Tamera have created a real masterpiece together. The food, ambiance, service, & decor is a real dream come true. This culinary gem is located in the heart of the Saint- Laurent area of Montreal. An absolute must see if you are in the city.
