The service was terrible, over 30 minutes to get our first drink. The waiter'Denis' blamed everyone else. The roast beef was only warm & dry. What happened to this prestigious restaurant?
Absolutely love this place. Its beautifully charming with its rustic antique furniture, feels like a cozy old home with class.
The food is always good too. Definitely recommend.

This is one of the coziest places in the area. The menu offers a wide selection, but if you're looking for a more economical lunch, they have a dedicated page with excellent options. The fish & chips were absolutely delicious, featuring great battered fish with perfectly seasoned, huge fries.
Years ago the food was worth making the trip for but now it is bland & expensive for what you get. I had the roast beef sandwich au jus & the only good thing about it was the bread. There was not much meat & the dipping sauce was literally brown water. Coleslaw & fries were standard. The reuban sandwich was not much better, again the only good thing was the garlic bun that it came in. Definitely not worth the detour to go but ok if you are already in the area.
Un restaurant avec une très bonne qualité de bouffe, un très bon service, prix très raisonnable. Aurait besoin d'un petit peu d'amour pour la déco!!! Resto établie depuis longtemps..
I've only eaten here twice & each time my friend & I sat in the garden behind the inn. When the weather permits, this is an incredibly pleasant place to enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Plus belle découverte faire depuis que je suis au Québec, ce restaurant m'a rappelé un vieux restaurant dans le Jura en France, très rustique, la nourriture très généreuse & délicieuse, acceuil très chaleureux. On y retournera dès qu'on en a l'occasion !

Wow, belle découverte... Retourner dans le passé pour vivre une belle & bonne expérience. Menu des années 60-70-80. Je crois que le prix du steak (faux filet 16 oz) vs la qualité est le meilleur de la région de Montréal. Seul bémol... Le frites sont so-so. Il est préférable de prendre la pomme de terre au four ou le riz. Le pain à l'ail gratinée est un incontournable !

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Love sitting by the fireplace on a cold winter morning enjoying a hearty breakfast. Staff is great, they treat you well & are very welcoming. I try & get out there every chance I can. You won't be making a mistake having reservations for supper... Don't forget a piece of the frozen Alaskan lemon pie, that alone is worth the trip! UPDATE: I found out over the weekend (2025-08-24) that they no longer serve breakfast, only lunch & dinner. ☹?
