Decided to check this place out because of the good reviews. My partner & I each ordered a gyro & shared a popcorn chicken poutine. Everything & I mean EVERYTHING was incredible. One of the gyros was faux lamb made from shiitaki mushrooms & the other was faux beef made from soy. The owner was very helpful when we were trying to decide what to get, & he even recommended some other vegan restaurants for us to check out. We will absolutely be coming back & trying other types of poutines.

Best vegan food we have had in years & best in Montreal. Huge selection that will take weeks to try. We will be back. Non-vegans loved it too! Fresh food that held up very well in takeout. Try the poutine!

My experience at Veganaire was 10/10! The menu is huge but I ordered perfectly for me - the pikilia sampler, a gyro meat pita, & a lamb shiitake skewer. The standouts being the lamb (as a mushroom hater this is the only mushroom that I've been able to enjoy, let alone love!) & the kopanisti dip in the sampler (had to order an 8oz container to go). We were served by Arie of Veganaire & he was so welcoming & kind both to first time visitors & regulars there that night. Definitely worth the trip from downtown, I will be keeping an eye out for a California location one day ;) Thank you Veganarie!

Très bon resto végan avec un accueil & un service hors pair, le propriétaire adore sa job car toujours enjoué de vous servir :) Je vous conseille le Pikilia pour 2 rempli de bonne saveur & goûteux ;)

Went to try vegan Mediterranean food.
I must say everything served was super hot which is rare as most restaurant offers warm food
