As usual we thoroughly enjoyed our meals & the very pleasant atmosphere. That is the reason we make the trip from Montreal
Our only suggestion is the darkness of the entrance hall. We understand the extra power needed to run more lights is not possible but suggest the use of battery operated motion sensors might just be the answer

My first time. Lovely restaurant with a outdoor garden terrace under mature trees for shade & surrounded by seasonal flowers. Excellent service. Specialty items on a short menu prives they are the best at what they do.
I had the'coquille' as recommended & it was delicious. The weather was cooperative & my friend & I had a wonderful lunch... we spent 3 hours & never once felt rushed. Thank you, Mon Village Restaurant.

This place was very cool. The building is 200 years old & visiting is like stepping back in time. The food all smells delicious. The menu is varied with lots of choices. I had a delicious roast beef dip. Fries are plank cut & perfect. Staff was friendly & helpful.

Love the food & the service, hate the smell. I know, I know, don't complain if the food is good but the carpets look like they were installed by the same guy who built the place & could be seriously upgraded. There is also an old stale smell that is overpowering & once you get thinking about it, it becomes hard to overlook or put out of your mind. Everything is good here though. French onion soup, fish & chips, beef dip, hamburger steak...all good...but the old stale smell? It does tend to put you off. It's worse in the front room.

I have passed this place hundreds of times on the highway to Montreal or the States, but this time, we decided to try it out & wow!!!!! Were we glad we did!
My seafood Caesar was packed with delicious & varied chunky seafood.
Service was impeccable, prices right & atmosphere great! We will be back!
