The quality has been going downhill. Last time the strawberries in the shortcake had mold! This time I gave another chance & bought peach short cake, there are many black dirts on top of the cake & also in the white chocolate curls. Disgusting. Not coming back.
I'm not a cake person but whenever I buy cakes from here my guest love it. I bought a strawberry short cake. A guest brought 2 other cakes one being a chocolate type cake. All 3 cakes were finished by the end of the party.

First & last time. Cakes in abundance no question. No food only some left overs everything is frozen & when we ask about why they don't sell any fresh lasagna or pastas the kid behind the counter was sarcastic & dismissive. Store has alot of potential. Sadly La Frênaie West Island is not like the other La frênaies. Changes should be made as this location has the ability to do better than many. Also the frozen lasagna after defrosted was soggy & nothing like the Westminster bakery. Shape up.
The best place in west island for italian desserts, cakes, sweets & cookies. Their zeppoles are so plump & generously filled. I love that their cakes & desserts are always indulgent without being overly sweet like how other places can be. I recommend their strawberry shortcakes, tiramisu, cannolis & their nutella cookies.
Amazing cakes! Have tried almost all & never fails to be a crowd pleaser. The staff are friendly kind & very quick. Thank you for your kindness, friendliness & most of all, for the delicious choices of cakes & pasteries to select from.
