Last time the strawberries in the shortcake had mold! This time I gave another chance & bought peach short cake, there are many black dirts on top of the cake & also in the white chocolate curls. Disgusting. Not coming back.
The best place in west island for italian desserts, cakes, sweets & cookies. Their zeppoles are so plump & generously filled. I love that their cakes & desserts are always indulgent without being overly sweet like how other places can be. I recommend their strawberry shortcakes, tiramisu, cannolis & their nutella cookies.
Le personnel est toujours très gentil, grande qualité des gâteaux & beaucoup de choix. Mes préférés sont le gâteau aux carottes, le gâteau de crêpes & le shortcakes aux fraises ou framboises. Leurs sélections de biscuits est inégalée. Tout est juste trop bon! C'est toujours un délice chez Lafrenaie!
Ordered a strawberry shortcake,It was the best cake I've had in years.They have a great selection of cakes.Went to their original store which opened in 1979,I was there.The tomato pizza has always been a big hit.Not surprising it has been a landmark with the Italian community for years.So we are fortunate to have it here on the West Island.Go for it!!
Relatively quick service, polite staff, decent prices. Strawberry shortcake was really tasty & so happy it wasn't frozen!
