Ordered a pretty big strawberry shortcake only to slice it & see that there was barely any strawberries in it. 3 layer cake & it was only in the middle layer & very little of them. it was basically a white cake with whipped cream. Some people had slices with no strawberries at all... weird. In any case, the cakes are always good & this was no different but for the price I paid it was no worth it at all. & without the strawberries well, its not a strawberry short cake is it!

I have ordered birthday cakes for my children from this bakery many times, but this experience was extremely disappointing.
I ordered two cakes, & one of them arrived with a large amount of moldy fruits on it. Not only was it unsafe to eat, but it was also not the size that I had ordered. As a result, I had to throw away a significant portion of the cake because serving it would have posed a health risk.
Having a birthday cake ruined by poor quality control put a damper on what should have been a special celebration. To make matters worse, the only compensation offered was a refund for that specific cake, & only if I came back to the store myself to get this refund (I told them that this is a long drive though).
Finding mold in a cake is unacceptable. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in the bakery, & I would not feel comfortable ordering a birthday cake here again. I expected much better quality & customer service.
