They customised the vegetarian pasta for me & it was incredibly tasty. We also tried their pizza & crème brûlée. The food was amazing & so was the service.
Accueil plutôt bête, par contre notre serveuse était très souriante & excellent service tout au long du repas. Les calamars étaient bon , spaghetti italien délicieux ( ce à quoi tu tattend d'un resto italien ) & pizza bologna au saucisse italienne très bonne malgré qui pourrait y avoir plus de saucisses. Service rapide considérant le nombre de personnes sur place. IMPORTANT : avoir réservation, lorsque nous avons quitter vers 19h20 il y avait du monde qui attendait jusqu'au trottoir. Seul point à améliorer, il faisait très chaud dans la salle à manger.
Nice looking location. Our server basically ignored us after we asked for English menus. I had to flag her down to place our order. She even turned her back to us at one point. No vegetables with the scalipini (as stated on the menu) & the sauce was too sweet (don't put sugar tomato sauce). Food took way too long & we asked for bread, which never arrived. She did bring bread to other tables. We heard her chatting it up with other guests but we barely got a hello.
We were a group of six & were served by Martin & we had the best experience. He was energetic & made us laugh. The BEST SERVER I ever had. Thank you Martin you are the best.
If you know food ,this will not be the place to satisfy your taste & knowledge, way far from authentic, service is ok,do not expect much from them,,, your just a bill payer. They want to look fancy but they're not. Pizza is terrible,flat with minimal ingredients /topping. Steak had no taste, even the papper sauce was full of starch & probably some garbage demi glass powder. Avoid if you can!
Nous étions de passage dans la région & une amie m'a recommandé Le Vieux Four. Nous étions 5 (mes parents, mes deux filles & moi). Je vous recommande de réserver puisque le resto était presque vide à notre arrivée à 18h, mais il s'est rempli TRÈS rapidement. Mario était notre serveur. Il était vraiment aimable, aidant & serviable, bien que fortement dans le jus. Il s'est trompé sur la commande de pizza de ma fille, mais l'erreur fût réparée en quelques minutes à peine. Ça peut arriver à tout le monde de se tromper! On voyait qu'il avait beaucoup d'expérience & nous nous sentions entre de bonnes mains. Le resto comme tel était très bruyant & bondée par cette belle journée d'été. La réception de nos assiettes a été un peu longue, mais ça en valait la peine. Les moules étaient délicieuses! C'était l'anniversaire de ma mère & Mario a cru bon lui offrir un gâteau & le staff lui a chanté bonne fête, ce qui a été grandement apprécié. Somme toute, une très belle expérience & je recommande chaudement ce restaurant!
Quiet lunch hour, but took some time for entrees to come out. Okay food, not great for the price. The pasta with smoked salmon was disappointing, not a lot of flavor. Chicken dijonnaise was okay. Ordered a pizza for takeout (a later meal) , I have definitely had better, just down the street. Would not recommend. Lots of restaurants near by.
Great Italian Restaurant. The food were tasteful & perfectly cooked. Pizza was just great thin crust, fresh ingredients, more importantly real authentic mozzarella cheese (not the fake which full of oil & grease) come from the wooden oven to serving table. Also we enjoyed chicken parmigiana & French onion soup both were great as well. Their cheesecake were tasty. 👍
