We had a really great experience at Restaurant le vieux four. I ordered the meat lasagna, & it was amazing. It tasted fresh, the sauce had great flavour, & the portion was very satisfying. You can tell the food is made with care, & it did not feel rushed or generic. It was exactly the kind of comforting Italian meal you hope for when you go out to eat.
Food was definitely 5 stars. The meat lasagna was the highlight for me, but I also tried my son's wood-fired pizza from the kids meal & it was great as well. The pizza had that fresh, proper wood oven flavour, & it was really nice that the kids meals came with drinks & dessert. As a parent, that makes a big difference because it feels like you are getting real value & the kids are taken care of too. The free bread & butter at the table was also a great surprise & a nice touch.
Service was also 5 stars. Our server was very attentive, listened carefully, explained everything clearly, & made amazing suggestions. He did not make us feel rushed, & he actually helped make the meal better by guiding us through the options. Good service can completely change the experience, & in this case it really did.
Atmosphere was 5 stars as well. The restaurant had a comfortable & welcoming feel, & it was a nice place to sit down & enjoy a meal with the family. Between the food, the service, the kids meal options, & the little extras like bread & butter, the whole experience felt thoughtful & enjoyable.
Overall, I would highly recommend Restaurant le vieux four. The meat lasagna was fresh & delicious, the wood-fired pizza was great, the kids meals were a good value, & the service made the visit even better. I would definitely come back again.
Enjoyed a beautiful 39th anniversary dinner. I had the vegetarian pizza & hubby had the lasagne. Unfortunately couldn't have cappuccinos as the machine was out of order. We thoroughly enjoyed their creme brule for dessert. Waiter was busy but attentive. Definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner.

Les fettucine Gigi était superbe & notre serveuse Chantal était très chaleureuse. Le pina colada mocktail était un peu sucrée à mon goût mais en gros, très belle sortie.
Un restaurent qui refuse des commande livraison sous pretexte de fermeture alor qu il restent plusieur heur encore , franchement pas a la hauteur de l image qu il ce donne
Excellente expérience ! Nous étions un groupe de 10 personnes & avons pu réserver le jour même. Service rapide, nourriture délicieuse & excellent rapport qualité-prix. Le plat de fet au fruits de mer était succulent. Mention spéciale à notre serveuse, qui a été tout simplement exceptionnelle du début à la fin. Je recommande sans hésiter !
