About us

From its construction in the early 19th century to the creation of its first factory in 1900, a lot has happened in Shawbridge. We saw the birth of a village, a school, a church, a bridge. We almost lost everything in a fire, then we rebuilt. In 1909, his name was made official in the civil constitution. Then in 2018, a second Factory opens its doors. Its mission: to put Shawbridge back on the map, one sip at a time… then we're there for that. We make great beer and great food for you, and we even make it for you to take home. A homemade vegetable garden for fresh ingredients all year round, pizzas made from beer dough cooked over a wood fire, dishes to share and tapas to lick your fingers ...

Stopped by for brews & food & it's great. Wonderful patio. Beer was excellent. So was the food. Great location near the bike trail. Very cool place.

Très belle microbrasserie! Service excellent, les bières le sont tout autant. Magnifique terrasse donnant sur la 117. Ambiance & déco chaleureuse & moderne. N'oubliez pas d'aller faire un tour au p'tit magasin pour essayer leurs produits ;)

Nous sommes allés souper samedi pour la 1ère fois & nous avons été décus.
La serveuse avait un sourire forcé.
Le temps d'attente pour recevoir notre repas a été assez long.
La portion du Duo pizza est vraiment trop petite pour le prix. Nous avons restés sur notre appétit.

Point positif :
L'employée de l'accueil qui semblait diriger le tout est A1. Elle a même changé l'emplacement de notre table qui était vraiment mal placée sur la terrasse & bloquait le passage.

L'ambiance & les bières sont très bonne. Cependant, il nous a fallu attendre 2h pour recevoir nos repas. À 2 moment nous avons du faire appel à du personnel pour que notre serveuse nous donne les menus & prendre notre commande.

J'ai fait une réservation pour 3 personnes sur la terrasse, en spécifiant bien un coin un peu plus tranquille. On nous a placé direct à l'entrée où il y a le plus de circulation. Ensuite, une fois assis, personne n'est venu nous voir. Au bout de 15 mins on a réussi à accrocher qqn pour demander si c'était possible d'avoir de l'eau & les menus (au moins pour boire une bière en attendant le repas). On nous a apporté les menus mais rien concernant la carte des bières! (Décevant pour une microbrasserie). Le service a été relativement lent tout au long de la soirée & nous avons dû faire quelques rappels pour le service (avoir de l'eau, refill de breuvage alcoolisé). La nourriture était très bonne & les portions généreuses. Je m'attendais à mieux côté service de la part de cet endroit, mais ça serait à réessayer éventuellement pour voir si ça serait mieux.
