From its construction in the early 19th century to the creation of its first factory in 1900, a lot has happened in Shawbridge. We saw the birth of a village, a school, a church, a bridge. We almost lost everything in a fire, then we rebuilt. In 1909, his name was made official in the civil constitution. Then in 2018, a second Factory opens its doors. Its mission: to put Shawbridge back on the map, one sip at a time… then we're there for that. We make great beer and great food for you, and we even make it for you to take home. A homemade vegetable garden for fresh ingredients all year round, pizzas made from beer dough cooked over a wood fire, dishes to share and tapas to lick your fingers ...
An extraordinary gourmet microbrewery, a little yeah.
Shawbridge - Microbrasserie / Usine & Station comes across as a welcoming spot with a broad, well curated beer list and a menu that highlights local ingredients. The ambiance is warm and lively with a family friendly vibe and a covered terrace that makes it a great stop after outdoor adventures on the Petit Train du Nord. Guests praise friendly, attentive service and thoughtful recommendations that enhance meals, with pizzas, burgers, seafood and charcuterie pairing nicely with the brews. While peak times can bring longer waits and occasional hiccups in service or portions, the overall experience is positive and the beer and food selections are frequently commended.
Great service & a cool atmosphere. Beer was delicious & the brisket poutine was probably the best I had while visiting Quebec! Perfect spot to duck into for a break while exploring the city.
Lovely food, big portions, fair prices & great service & atmosphere. They also have a boutique in which they sell their tasty beers & brownies & so much more!

Good microbrewery/restaurant. They offer a very wide selection of high quality beers they brew, roughly around 20. Good food also. Plenty of on-site parking, a nice bar area, & a large outdoor terrace for summer days. They also have a store where you can buy their brews & food they serve in the restaurant. Restaurant & facilities were clean.
I have been to the microbrewery several times & the food & beer are always getting better & it started at very good right from the get-go. Shawbridge hosted the Festival Brasse Tes Laurentides & it was one of the best beer festivals I have ever attended. Why? First, well-located; right on the Petit Train du Nord bike path, which meant fewer cars were needed for patrons to attend & it simply made the parking issue a non-issue. Saw a deer on the path on my way to the fest. Second, a diverse portfolio of breweries from the region & a manageable number so that you could really try something from every brewery. At other festivals, you can be confronted with 75 breweries & you have to take an hour just to plan your visit. Right size this time. Third, organization & layout, just the right amount of space for everyone to hang out & sample & not too crowded & the brewery tents were set up facing each other in the old Prevost train Station parking lot with lots of space in between. Oh yea, & there was live music too. Fourth, the beer selection was awesome; low ABV Radlers of all flavours, extreme beers, classic takes, & even N/A to try. Fifth, & last, you paid for your souvenir tasting glass & all samples with your debit card, not the old way of stranding in line forever to buy coupons in exchange for beer samples. It was simply go up to server, ask for your sample, pay, & drink. Simple. Thanks a million Shawbridge for organizing & I will be there next year!

This is not a restaurant review but just a comment on the name of the new beer…51st state?!? Really?…What a bad idea even if intended as a joke. I would have gone with'elbows up' or Killer Goose or something a lot more clever, but hey! Not my beer & not my business 😉…but you'll never catch me drinking it! (J'écris en anglais au cas ou des touristes Amarakain liraient le review)
First time at Shawbridge. Overall experience? Fantastic! We had made a lunch reservation (a good move as the place was full). Warm welcome, nice place with well-spaced tables. We tried a few of their beers, loved them all. The burger was brilliant & the fish & chips the best I've had for a long time. The food was presented beautifully. The service was friendly, timely & professional. The only downside is that it's quite close to the 117 so you have some traffic noise. Looking forward to a return visit before too long.
