Pour la Saint-Valentin, mon épouse & moi avons eu l'occasion de souper au Jellyfish, & honnêtement, c'était une expérience incroyable. Sur les bons conseils de notre serveuse, qui était super accueillante, nous avons décidé de prendre cinq plats à partager.
Le tuna crudo & l'avocado carpaccio étaient excellents, avec un beau mélange de textures. Le plat de rotelle était aussi très bon, réconfortant à souhait. Mais ce qui a vraiment marqué notre soirée, c'était le carré d'agneau & le filet mignon, cuits à la perfection.
J'aurais aimé me souvenir du nom de notre serveuse, car elle nous a très bien guidés pour le menu & les breuvages.
Bref, Jellyfish est définitivement un incontournable!

I think they were trying to save on power because it was so dim we couldn't even see where the plate was practically. The server was also a disaster. Got 3 things wrong in the order & denied it ( maybe writing down the orders would help fix that instead of pretending to be good at memorizing) She was busy getting shots & drinks with people as well as chit chatting instead of doing her main job. Anyway the food was pretty decent but the service is ultimately what makes a restaurant in my opinion. The prices on the menu would suggest that it would be the case anyway.

Appetizer: tuna, scallop, black cod, & avocado were excellent, crafty presentation tasted really good. The scallop was fine, the concept is better than the actual taste but still satisfactory Main course: steak & halibut was amazing, generous cut, flavourful & pretty presentation. Lamb was ok, but I wouldn't recommend Dessert: panna cota with bourbon sauce & orange was excellent, well balanced sweet, cream, & freshness, also very pretty. Overall a great place, good & attentive service. The Pani Puri lacks of taste & I would considerate this appetizer as pricy for the portion. The rest was good.

Food was average but for the price i was expecting more flavours it was really bland took the NY CAB was kinda disappointed. My wife took the Lamb shank its was ok not awesome. In the 400$ bill wasn't really worth the price. Also waiting came around 10 times refilling water which was annoying after sometime.

ÉDIT: Je suis obligée de rectifier mon avis suite à l'expérience de ce soir. L'endroit est toujours aussi somptueux & l'accueil & le service sont absolument irréprochables. Néanmoins, nous avons été consternées par chacune de nos assiettes. La présentation est agréable & travaillée mais les quantités sont devenues vraiment ridicules au vu du prix affiché sur la carte. Rien ne peut justifier qu'une assiette composée d'un demi avocat assaisonné & coupé en 5 soit facturée 25$ +tx. Idem pour le tuna crudo dont la part de thon représentait moitié moins qu'une tranche de saumon fumé déchiquetée & disséminée dans l'assiette pour la modique somme de 29$ +tx (pour ne citer que ces plats). Le rapport est proprement inacceptable, pour ne pas dire abusif ou insultant & cette expérience est terriblement dissuasive. Je ne reviendrai pas & ne pourrai décemment plus recommander cet endroit, avec regret. ORIGINAL: Excellente expérience à tout point de vue: l'offre sur la carte est appétissante & inhabituelle & tout était délicieux. Nous étions assise au comptoir du bar & notre serveur/barman était d'une délicatesse & d'un professionnalisme exceptionnels.

I had the perfect dinner last night with my wife & friends. The waitress made everything so easy & clear while we never once had an empty glass of water for 5 seconds. We had a spotless table the whole night (with a last name like mine you can understand how that's an accomplishment in itself) as they were constantly on top of EVERYTHING. I have never had a better dinner experience anywhere, I cannot wait for the next time I get that pleasure again.

Was very underwhelming for the cost... the "lobster" pani puri tasted strongly like fake crab & plain mayonnaise, every dish we had lacked seasoning or salt, service was slow & all over the place, we had a reservation for 8:45 & weren't seated until 9pm after hovering around the coat check. Seafood tasted frozen not fresh. Won't be returning & don't recommend if you want good seafood.

Really great place. The food waa excellent. Highly recommend the tuna crudo & veal short ribs...french fries are great. Very friendly & attentive service. Great location in old Montreal. Looking forward to go back & try some other dishes.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Jellyfish last night! Our waitress was exceptional-she really paid attention to our needs. When my husband requested a nut-free meal, she made sure to order my dish without pistachios before it was cooked, ensuring everything was safe for me. Her thoughtful service truly made our evening special. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food & attentive staff! Unfortunately I don't know her name .
