Giving it 3 stars because food was really not good for my liking. Everything just tasted soooo blend, no savoury taste. Tartare was really not good, whatever sauce they made it with, needs to be changed & enhanced. The bread that came with it tasted like Nothing… like i thought maybe that would have tasted good but nope. The salad was meh. Just the fact that all 4 of us on the table disliked our meal makes me not want to go back but.. never know. Maybe a 2nd chance is worth it.
Place itself looks great, love the decor. Also our service was excellent, our waitress made sure everything & everyone was well served. We also had a complicated order due to allergies but with great service, it made everything smooth & pleasant.
I don't have an opinion on recommending, but it's definitely not for my taste buds.
La Fabrique, l'endroit idéal pour aller prendre un brunch ou souper en famille ou entre amis. Produits frais, idée de recette originale, très bon conseils de la part du personnel, belle carte de vin & les cocktails y sont délicieux ... Le cadre est relaxant, unique & agréable.
Parfait pour y déguster des Pancakes 🥞, des Pickles maison ou encore de délicieux tartares. & puis il y a les frites au gras de canard .... Comment dire ... Une tuerie gustative !!! 🔥
Sans oublier le muffin au porc effiloché 🤩🥰 & j'en passe .. 🇨🇦👍🏼
Je vous recommande cette adresse sans hésitation. J'y retourne souvent & j'y retournerai.

Cozy & warm - the Plateau vibe adds a unique feel. Excellent service & excellent food. We had the beef tartare - one of the best we've had in a long time. 3-service menu - the tataki tuna was good & the toppings & sauce made it taste even better. The pork was tender & the sweet potatoes/peanut sauce added a delightful taste. We finished with the brownie dessert. To our surprise, it was not sweet like other brownies, it was very light & well balanced with the pecans & caramel sauce.
I can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & welcoming-bright, stylish, & just the right amount of busy to feel lively without being overwhelming. The hostess was so sweet & lovely!
The menu had a great variety of both classic & creative options. I went with the beef tartare, pancakes, fresh pressed juice - it was absolutely delicious. Every dish boasted of fresh ingredients, beautifully plated, & full of flavor. My friend ordered a few dishes as well, we ended up sharing because everything looked too good not to try.
The service was friendly & attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend for brunch!
We found shelter from the rain in this restaurant & had an excellent lunch! Beef tartare (him) & tuna tartare (me) with an excellent bread roll & yummy fries. All accompanied by an absolutely delicious home made juice & I forgot to mention home made mayonnaise with the fries (the Belgian in me applauded!). Good music, nice vibe & good service. Totally recommend.

2025: I enjoyed the beef tartare, though maybe a little too heavy on the cumin. Nice présentation. Good side salad & brioche. Pleasant service, patient with my touring friends who didn't understand tipping. Pretty place.
2020: Excellent service, creative food, terrasse on the park, be sure to make reservations online though
If you're the type to be easily impressed by ham-in-a-can & edgy're-interpreted' classics with a hodge-podge of random ingredients you've never once eaten all at once in the same plate, this restaurant is for you!
The kitchen also didn't make much of an effort for my food sensitivities, saying they couldn't remove the cheese from my beef tartare because then'otherwise it wouldn't taste like much.' I am quoting our waiter.
Judging by how tiny the portion was, they actually only refused to remove the cheese because they didn't want to add more meat to compensate. On the other hand, the duck fries were pretty good.
Let's just get one thing out of the way. We ended up eating there FOUR times. The staff was super attentive, friendly & nice So much of the food is top: -beef tartare with duck fried French fries -croissant with poultry & duck egg -Rockefeller oyster - French toast…oh god! With THICK cut bacon - great wine selection - pickles in ginger to take home -braised beef!! Thank you all making our visits wonderful!
Food is overrated. I waited forever to get my order & tea. When I finally got the salmon tartare it was mostly apples? The salad it came with was absolutely drenched in vinegar I couldn't even eat it because it was literally burning my mouth. Like why would I be paying the price for a salmon tartare just to get apples & a gross salad with a small amount of salmon. I was left so unsatisfied after my meal. There are no allergy warnings & they should at least list the ingredients because I would have never ordered the salad if I knew it came with a ton of vinegar.
Must visit weekend brunch place in Montreal. We chose to sit inside due to the heat, & the interior is lovely. We ordered an oat milk latte & a strawberry lemonade while we were perusing the menu, & they were brought to us very quickly. Our server was attentive & made great suggestions, including getting one of each of the side options (salad & duck fat fries). My partner & I got the salmon tartare & the beef tartare, both delicious & fresh. We shared the caramel French toast, which was to die for. I have never had French toast that good in my life, & when I come back to Montreal I will be coming here for brunch again!

Had our last brunch here before catching our train to Toronto. Beautiful place, sunny patio. Service needs improvement. Took long for them to approach our table to take our order. Food was slow as well, when I followed up they said sorry & they were busy earlier in the morning, but they were not that busy at that moment. Took an hour from being seated to the service of our food. Most dishes were okay but our favorites were definitely the french toast & the salmon tartare.
Excellent. Had dinner there last minute without reservation & they accommodated us. Ordered their carrot soup, beef tartare, asparagus salad & duck breast. Everything, even their bread with house pickles (zingy without being too acidic) & herb butter, was delicious. Space was great, music was at a pleasant volume without being too loud to hear. Service was also great. Great evening all around!
We ordered salmon tartare, beef brisket & thick pancake. Everything was delicious & very good quantities. The service was very good & accommodating. Will definitely come back to try other items!

Beau Brunch pour la Fête des mères. Accueil sympathique, joli décor & menu recherché. J'ai adoré le tartare d'espadon qui était épicé selon mon goût, mon mari a choisi lui le Paleron de boeuf. Ma fille pour sa part a mangé le plat assaisonné à l'indienne. Fait amusant, les 3 entrées étaient servies pour que tous les convives puissent se les partager. Dans une ambiance décontractée nous avons été servi par Marine qui a été aux petits soins avec nous. Nous reviendrons c'est certain ❤️
