Je vous recommande cette adresse sans hésitation. J'y retourne souvent & j'y retournerai.
I should start by saying that my wife thought she was just being dragged into another greasy spoon to watch me devour pancakes. To my immense good fortune, this place absolutely knocked it out of the park with her. She was delighted. This is a great date spot. Everything we had was fresh & delicous. It was also beautiful. My wife is not the type to photograph her food but everything looked like it was made for Instagram. Service was very European & professional. The menu forces you to choose between very savory or very sweet with little offering both. A pet peeve of mine with Montreal breakfast spots. Seating is a little weird & reservations are definitely reccomended. There are plenty of great little 2 top & 4 top tables, nicely spaced out. Then there is the long sofa thing against the wall where you are quite literally elbow to elbow with your neighbors. More concerning, there is a giant common table holding something like 10 people. If this was all they had, I'm afraid I would leave, regardless of how good the food is. I am not down with common tables in restaurants & wish this fad would die off asap. We really enjoyed everything & will definitely be back.
Great little brunch spot if you're ever in Montreal! Juice of the day + their pancakes in their signature apple sauce & definitely opt to get the bacon to go with it! A MUST!!
I had my birthday brunch with my girls here, the waitress Shena is wonderful. We received the best service & the warmest welcome from her. The food is great as usual, highly recommend the French toast & the apple purée pancake, the beef shoulder plate is also amazing. The birthday candle really makes my day!
Everything was so delicious! It was our second time eating here for brunch & we loved every bite. They change the menu every few weeks, so everything is fresh. Would highly recommend the pancakes! Be sure to make a reservation!
Amazing pancake & French toast, da best. Simple soft & not too sweet. Amazing way to start the day
My girls picked this beautiful spot for a birthday brunch, & it turned out to be the perfect choice! The coffee was rich & flavorful, & the food was absolutely incredible.
The pancakes were perfectly soft & fluffy, & the apple sauce was delicious - such a great combo!
Our server was fantastic - friendly, attentive, & made us feel so welcome.
A wonderful place for brunch - I highly recommend it!
My dad & I stumbled upon this place on our way home. The menu caught our attention as it contains a creative mix of ingredients for brunch. We were seated & I ordered pancakes with apple puree & cheddar cheese, topped with an egg. It was incredible & quite filling. Also I got their juice of the day which contained a mixture of fresh fruits, was very unique & not too sweet (just perfect). Definitely recommend to everyone if it's within your budget!!
Lovely brunch spot!
I can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & welcoming-bright, stylish, & just the right amount of busy to feel lively without being overwhelming. The hostess was so sweet & lovely!
The menu had a great variety of both classic & creative options. I went with the beef tartare, pancakes, fresh pressed juice - it was absolutely delicious. Every dish boasted of fresh ingredients, beautifully plated, & full of flavor. My friend ordered a few dishes as well, we ended up sharing because everything looked too good not to try.
The service was friendly & attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend for brunch!
Delicious brunch! I got the pancakes & they were fantastic. I wanted to try everything on the menu!
The experience was fantastic
Everything was perfect I couldn't ask for a better quality brunch
You should definitely try apple sauce pancakes
Next time I would go for grill beef
Also, they change the menu constantly so you have more reason to go!!
I had a unique menu item: thick pancakes served with apple purée & syrup. The pancakes were thick but still managed to stay soft, & the purée, with its subtle apple aroma that wasn't overly tangy, complemented the dish beautifully. It was a delightful brunch menu-flavorful yet not overwhelming, making it easy & enjoyable to savor.
La Fabrique is a must-visit spot! We started with the juice of the day: pineapple, kiwi, & coconut water & it was hands down the best juice we've ever had. The grapefruit mimosa was also solid but nothing extraordinary. For food, the pancake was incredible, it was light, fluffy, & paired perfectly with the apple purée. I do wish it came with a bit more maple syrup, but it was still amazing. The soft-boiled egg served with it was absolutely divine. The English muffin was another standout. It's made from scratch, & the soft-boiled egg & other elements made for a delicious & light combination. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast or brunch!
Terrific food, service, menu, vibes. Sat at the bar & talked to the bartender, he was great. Add bacon to your pancakes for best results
Finally found a really qualify restaurant to brag about. First off, the ambiance is perfect. Classy, but not stuck up & cozy, but not sloppy. The service was impeccable. Prompt greeting, friendly but not too much nor too little - really hard for some to get this right but those that were working 10/26 around 12p were on point from the front staff to back of house. Magnifique! Lastly, & likely most importantly for those reading.... the food. The food. THE FOOD!! I ordered the foccacia fish sandwich with jalapeno & whatnot. It was so crunchy, soft, savoury, & filling. Not spicy at all in my opinion. They take out the seeds of the pepper. It also came with cubed, duck fat fried potatoes just like I like them. Creamy on the inside & crunchy on the outside. They were literally so fresh i had to wait like 5 minutes before I could eat them cause they piping hot! On the side they gave me homemade mayo with mustard seeds inside. So good! I also ordered the apple, ginger & yuzu juice which was good as well. My one regret was that I was so full from this meal I could try the pancakes or anything else... but I'll be back. Wifi available here & so many other local, fresh, Quebec derived ingredients & foods here. Highly recommend!!
I read that this was ranked among the top 10 brunch restaurants in Canada...that must have been some years ago because this isn't even in the top 5 brunch places I've been to in Montreal. This place is always busy but I feel like it's driven by hype more than anything else. Very elegant space that is well put together. The service is good too. I was excited to try the pancakes here, but the variety they were serving at the time of my visit did not speak to me at all so unfortunately had to skip on that for the frittata. MY dish was topped with all sorts of unnecessary seeds, greens & nuts that did not compliment the dish. It's like they were going nuts with the presentation with little thought to how it would actually taste. I enjoyed the fresh juice but it was pricy, which goes for the entire menu in general. The only item I truly enjoyed was the salted caramel french toast dessert, that was a real treat. I would return to try the pancakes in the future though so perhaps my review will improve after a future visit, if it happens.
There was a bit of a wait to get in, but also had a large group of 11 so it was understandable, the vibe of the restaurant was casual. The food here is really good. I had the pancakes with apple puree, & it was delicious. I added the side of thick cut bacon & it was fantastic, I would recommend finding your way here.
