Review Summary

La Cour des Palmiers is described as visually stunning and charming, especially for festive and high tea moments, with many noting a magical atmosphere, lovely decor, and attentive staff on some visits. Yet experiences are mixed, as service is frequently described as slow and inconsistent, with long waits for orders, drinks, and refills that can overshadow the meal. Food opinions vary, with some dishes praised for flavor or quality while others find mains or pastries underwhelming or overpriced for the portions. The setting is frequently highlighted as romantic or whimsical, making it a good spot for celebrations or family visits, and Christmas decor and live piano are often cited as memorable touches. The best experiences emphasize hospitality and ambiance, while the less favorable ones point to pace and value. Overall, La Cour des Palmiers seems to deliver a striking ambiance and moments of delight, but service reliability and value for money are common concerns that shape the overall impression.

Dropped by palm court for some drinks after desserts at maison boulud on a Saturday evening. The drinks & the service here were awesome. Their martinis were great. Think I'm into martinis now. Was definitely on the tipsy side by the time we were leaving. The bar will most likely have whatever cocktail you're thinking of. Pretty vibe. Good spot for a date or a good talk while sipping on cocktails.

We went here to kick off our honeymoon, & it was a lovely experience for a special occasion. Service was phenomenal & attentive without rushing. The ambiance is also very nice, & everything feels upscale. I loved the scones & all the savory options. Desserts were also pretty good (I'm not as much of a dessert lover so I preferred the sandwiches). The tea cocktails were the highlight- both the chai espresso martini & jasmine mimosa were really unique & delicious. Most afternoon teas where I live are quite pricey so honestly this one was pretty affordable for the experience, I think, but I'm not familiar with local pricing.

High tea at the ritz is a fun experience to do at least once. Our server was probably the most enthusiastic server I've ever had. The tea itself was exceptional. The presentation for the sandwiches & desserts was lovely & charming. We were not blown away by the quality of the food, but we very much enjoyed it & found portions generous. The decor itself had an element of old world charm & we were able to linger into the afternoon.

Afternoon tea service: Excellent service, attentive & helpful. Nice decor. Scones were very scrumptious. Desserts were delicious especially the creative chocolate one. Finger sandwiches were a bit hit or miss though. The shrimp one was too heavy on the dill for example. Presentation was perfect overall.

Afternoon Tea First off, the waiting staff was courteous. Service was really flawless & I felt very cared for. The greeting was a bit awkward as it was hard to signal someone that I was waiting to be greeted by a host/hostess. Everything was quite delicious. We chose the Jasmin Mimosa, which was a treat. The sandwiches were delicious. Apart for one of them (the one that was not cucumber or cajun chicken). It was oddly dry in texture. The desserts were refined & quite generous in flavor. We left quite stuffed. It might seem a bit steep in price for tea time, but the whole experience was a delight, especially if you are offering yourself an experience for a special occasion. The only downfall for me was the cold/white light leaking through the top floor where a stand was installed. It clashed with the warm lights inside the Palm Court. Again a big thanks for Myriam & Jeffrey (I hope the spelling is accurate, it was a quick glance at their name tags.
