- Je suis venu avec une amie qui a des allergies/intolérables alimentaires & nous l'avons mentionné avant même de commander & en premier point important à noter. Malgré cela, la consigne ***n'a pas été suivie*** lorsque les plats sont arrivés. Nous avons été surpris & déçus. Notre demande n'avait visiblement pas été suivie jusqu'en cuisine. Je l'ai rappelé à notre serveur à la fin. Je précise qu'il n'a pas pris de note.
- Les brochettes de poulet étaient inégalement cuites.
- la portion de riz des nigiris (poisson cru avec riz) était minuscule. J'en avais jamais vu d'aussi petite. Le saumon & le thon étaient un peu fades.
Plutôt bonne expérience globalement mais la gestion des allergies alimentaires a été complètement ratée par les cuisines. C'est bien dommage...
I have been here about 10 times over the last 3 years, let me tell you its always consistently amazing. Food spot on & great service, amazing sake selection & servers with great knowledge. Jess has an amazing vibe 10/10 thank you .

The staff was lovely & attentive yet super busy like all places. We did not mind the wait as we were seated outside, for our check & had plenty of hot jasmine tea (delish) & our bellies & palates were joyfully content.
The menu was amazing & the choices plentiful.
The sake flight was superb & I would encourage all to sample this delight.
The orchestration of staff was so nice. They bring you dish after dish & are all professional & knowledgeable.
Montreal humans are the best in the world. We loved every dish, roll, miso soup & will return everyone we go to Montreal.

Ambiance parfaite pour une soirée romantique si vous y allez plus tard lorsqu'il y a moins de monde. Notre serveur Jess était incroyable, autant pour l'explication des plats & des Sake que pour son enthousiasme. Un de mes nouveau restaurant préféré !!
Excellent quality food. Definitely on the higher side of the price range, but worth it. We indulged in warm dishes, sushi, cocktails, sake & tea. All of which very very good.
Amazing culinary experience & wonderful atmosphere! The food is amazing; so tasty, flavourful & fresh. Our waitress Elizabeth made amazing recommendations & we had so much fun with her! From the makis, to the gyozas, amazing wine selection & sake bombs, Kyo is a must go!!
Super yummy & excellent service. Elizabeth was awesome at helping us feel welcome & teaching us more about sake, then helping us pick an absolutely divine bottle. We will be back! Thank you! The sushi & nigiri & desserts we ordered were all fantastic.

De passage samedi pour mtl à table , très bonne accueil. On a ajouté la morue charbonnière au miso cuit de 3 façon, juste wow & que dire du service d'Elizabeth, connaissance du menu de A à Z ainsi que des sakés , meilleur service que j'ai eu depuis longtemps!
Très beau service de la part de Kathy! Très attentionnée & elle nous a fait de bonnes recommandations ! Belle sélection de saké! Très belle soirée ! Nous allons revenir!
Excellent restaurant! Didn't have a reservation, but was seated immediately (18:30, mid-October). Staff were very friendly, & explained menu & suggested correctly how much food was the right amount. I had three plates, as suggested, for just me (solo traveller) & that was just right. Chicken Karage was lovely, vegetable roll was great & the snake roll (tuna) was delicious. Good range of cocktails, & nice sake on offer. Would definitely recommend.
Had a great night celebrating my partner's birthday. We were a group of 8 & were given a great spot in the back, so the vibe was private & intimate. The service was impeccable; our waiter was very attentive & friendly, & we ordered a round of sake bombs which was a fun experience to have as a group. The decor was beautiful & location was very accessible. My only hiccup was the food. Many of us ordered the 30 piece sushi & it was...not good. Like at all. I wouldn't order that again. It was complete mush despite the fact that it had tempura in the rolls? & for $70 it felt like a robbery. The appetizers & drinks, however, were very good. Which is why the main dishes were a bit of a shock quality-wise.
