This was the best dining experience my wife & I have ever had. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was top notch. We had the Gastronomique menu with a wine pairing, & while it is on the pricy side, we believe it was worth it for a special occasion.

My husband & I were incredibly disappointed with the food & service.

The show to deliver each dish is gimmicky. The taste & quality of the food is poor.

I have never eaten at a restaurant, a lobster tail with the intestines still in the lobster. See pictures attached. Trust me, the intestines were thick & dark, this was something I cannot accept when paying a couple hundred dollars for a dinner. On top of that the lobster was slightly undercooked & it had a slimy texture that made me gag.

The server (young man) we had was very cold & inattentive. Notably, he made the worst pasta in a cheese wheel. The grappa he ignited on fire for a second was then poured into the cheese wheel. The cheese didn't even melt much in the wheel & then he poured the pasta into there to mix with the alcohol. We had one taste & put our forks down because it was pure alcohol on cold under-cooked pasta. We made the manager aware of this & he did offer to make another one for us, but we were already so turned off by it we just said there is no need.

Overall experience was terrible. There are REAL restaurants out there that deliver much better food & service (for less too!)

Le 30 juillet dernier, j'ai réservé au Europea le restaurant de Jérôme Ferrer, maintenant 1 étoile au guide Michelin. Nous avons commandé le menu anniversaire. Nous étions déjà allé à l'ancienne adresse & la cuisine était excellente & le service irréprochable. Je m'attendais à quelque chose d'exceptionnel. Malheureusement ce fut la déception. Entrée modeste. Le fameux cappuccino de homard s'avère n'être qu'un modeste petit encas plutôt fade & sans envergure. Le plat principal est plutôt moyen, le filet de boeuf pas tout a fait a point. Visiblement notre serveur n'est pas très bien formé. Service amateur. Malgré que nous ayons la carte des vins en main & signalons au serveur vouloir commander deux verres de rosé, il ne revient jamais s'enquérir de notre choix. Nous restons avec la carte des vins sur la table. Aucun sommelier n'est visiblement sur place pour recommender des vins. Le Personnel est peu souriant, l'ambiance sombre & peu invitante. Musique formatée style chaine de resto bar. Vraiment, je me demande d'où vient l'étoile Michelin. Hum...Je crois que l'examinateur Michelin est passé à côté. Où il est passé une journée où tout était bien. Impossible pour ce restaurant de conserver encore longtemps son étoile Michelin.

Lovely experience eating at this fine establishment shared 12-courses with my husband for our wedding anniversary & we were both stuffed before we even got it the dessert! Everything about the place was great but it was hard to tell how to get a table in the bottom which had more varied menu.

I played tourist in my own city tonight, & had a fantastic experience! It is the kind of experience where time seems to pause for a moment, so you can truly admire what is right in front of you. Few restaurants have left me feeling inspired such as at Jérôme Ferrer. I am still in awe.

Being on my own adventure, I enjoyed the dinner menu at the bar, & was served by Raja. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted with respect. As we got to talk more, he shared a sharp sense of humor (& witfully anticipated my next drinks!) His courteous playfulness set the tone for an excellent evening.

The food (or should I call it art?) was astonishing. Each dish was generous in its flavors, & beautifully elaborated, with many acknowledgements to the local terroir. The overall progression of the dishes was well curated, & felt symphonic in its rhythm.

In between courses, I toured the restaurant. The ambiance on the main floor seemed refined & elegant, yet warm & inviting. The second floor had a special touch of intimacy.

I recommend to everyone be a tourist in their city. Love you Montreal, thank you for keeping top class cuisine so close to home! & Jérôme Ferrer, I will certainly have to return with a proper date!

Première soirée chez Jerome Ferrer
Nous avons dégusté le menu anniversaire à 90$ par personne & un vin en provenance d'Espagne pour accompagner ce repas.
Nous avons réservé à 17h30 heure plus propice à échanger avec les serveurs & maître d'hôtel .
Le menu anniversaire un feux d'artifice de saveurs, un équilibre gustatif, des portions généreuses, décrites avec beaucoup de passion de la part des serveurs
Un merci particulier à Vladimir d'origine russe attachant, comédien en devenir
Les plats sont généreux, presque trop. Mais très aimablement il vous propose de rapporter avec vous les portions restantes
Très bons rapport qualité prix pour un restaurant étoilé au Michelin
Je le recommande sincèrement

Amazing food, great presentation & experience. However with the high price point you are paying for perfection, we got the extra Kobe beef option, & seems they overcooked my steak (ordered medium well, but came completely grey cooked). We were four, one of us did not order champagne, they still served the champagne, said it was a gift, but then proceeded to charge us for the glass, also you would expect the tea to be complimentary for the dessert, like in other Michelin we have been prior. Lastly, I am a little disappointed that there were no themes presented with the food, they just said what the food was, but not why it was served, from which region, & any symbolics behind it.. Apart from that it was very enjoyable. The lobster was the best I have had yet.

This was the best experience I've ever had in all of the restaurant in Montreal.
Service was exquisite with Raja absolutely treating us like king & queen !

Now let's talk about the food just wow !
Tasted exquisite everything was perfect all the flavors mixed beautifully.

This is a 10/10 recommmend.

We tried the Midi Gourmand lunch menu for $50, which is a great price for a Michelin-starred restaurant. The space is beautifully decorated, elegant, & in a great location.

However, I was hoping to be more surprised by the food. The appetizers were overly salty, the fish was nicely seasoned, & everything else was just okay. I've had better elsewhere. The utensils looked cheap & scratched, which felt out of place for this type of restaurant.

Overall, a pleasant experience but it didn't meet my expectations. I'll try a different menu next time.

I went with friends for a birthday dinner & mistakenly booked the wrong'restaurant' yes two restraints in one & if you don't speak or read French it's hard to understand the difference. The wait staff & bartender raj were amazing but the manager not so much. The food was to die for! Worth the price for a special occasion.

However I went back a week later as a walk in after doing the shops with Prada & lv, asked if I could just have a few drinks & some lite dinner. The hostess had to ask the manager who said no. It wasn't busy so I assumed it was my attire. I booked on the website for an hour later & changed at my hotel. When I arrived the hostess looked shocked but sat me because I had a Rez. The manager served me like I was a peasant but the rest of the staff was amazing. Again raj for the great drinks & my waiter for being just amazing!

Love the food & staff but someone needs to teach the manager how to respect a person. I'll only go back for the food & staff but not if that manager is still there. Don't treat your customers like crap, you are a block from McDonald's so not that fancy sir

Parfait 🤣🎀 This is my third time here, & it's a restaurant I really enjoy. I am a millionaire & I'm happy with the food. The price is absolutely fine. I see a lot of negative reviews about the price, but if you're a budget freak, don't go out; McDonald's is cheaper. & to be honest, this price is really conscience among all restaurants. I am worried that Jerôme Ferrer will not make money. 🗿

Lovely meal. Small menu, extensive wine list, excellent service. Steak is cooked right beside you. Pricey but the food quality is suitable for the price.

I wonder how this place earned a Michelin star. I went for a lunch with a group of friends. Everything we had was way too salty & the lobster was overcooked. Everyone in the group was very disappointed with the food.

Nous sommes allé manger & avons eu un service d'exception, du début à la fin.

Tant à l'accueil, pendant le souper & jusqu'à la fin, tout a surpassé nos attentes.

Je recommande à tous d'aller découvrir la délicieuse cuisine du chef Jérôme Ferrer.

Nous étions 4 personnes & c'est un 100% satisfaction.

Food is good, but too much sugar in the dessert. Service is below par compared to other high end restaurants in Montreal. The waiters seemed to be in a hurry for everything. The table is super greasy & sticky.
