Tout a été parfait!! Un endroit exceptionnel où l'on nous fait vivre une expérience incroyable & unique 🌟👏 - La grande table gastronomique a dépassée nos attentes & nous avons été émerveillés! Service exceptionnel, personnels sympathiques, présentation théâtrale de plats à la hauteur du grand chef Ferrer 👌 Que du WOW ! À ne pas manquer cette aventure unique à Montréal.

I visited Restaurant Jérôme Ferrer - Europea during my recent trip to Montreal came here for dinner meal, mainly because it holds a Michelin star & I was curious to see how it compares. Having dined at all the Michelin-starred restaurants in Toronto, I came in with fairly high expectations.

Overall, Europea did a great job when it comes to service & presentation. The dining experience feels very theatrical, with creative & interactive ways of serving dishes that definitely make the meal memorable. The staff were attentive, professional, & clearly put effort into creating a unique atmosphere.

That said, the food itself didn't quite meet my expectations. While the presentation was impressive, I found many of the flavors to be overly heavy & not as refined or refreshing as I had hoped. Some dishes leaned too rich, which made it harder to fully enjoy the progression of the tasting menu.

There was also a small but notable hiccup with the experience. We had made a special note that the dinner was for an anniversary, but it was mistakenly celebrated as a birthday instead. It didn't ruin the evening, but it did take away from what was meant to be a more personal touch.

It was an incredibly unique dining experience, filled with thoughtful touches throughout the evening. We were surprised & delighted on many occasions, which made the night truly unforgettable. What I appreciated most was how knowledgeable the servers & sommelier were when presenting each dish & wine pairing. Their passion for what they do was very clear. We also loved being invited into the kitchen to see the action up close. Thank you for such a wonderful evening, we will certainly be back.

Service expéditif même si il fut mention qu'il n y avait aucune presse, accueil hautain du maître d hôtel, accusation de double réservation alors qu un appel avait été logé pour confirmer l'unique demande Web, donc s il y a ajout car on a confirmé via courriel ce n est pas du ressort du client mais de la gestion, plutôt défaillante du restaurant. 4 appels la journée même car il dit attendra ma mère de 80 ans. Je m inquiète. Je pars du travail car malgré que je lui dis que mon beau père me confirme être là le maître d hotel me rappel 2 fois, 2 (harcelant d autant plus que l erreur ne provient pas de nous) ! Me disant elle n y est PAS.... Je manque donc le travail inquiète. J y arrive, accueil froide voir ENCORE accusation que la faute est sur les épaules du CLIENT. Il nomme ma mère Paul alors que c est PAULE. Par chance ma mère a aimé la nourriture mais c est senti poussé. Je suis déçu car ce cadeau se voulait agréable pour une femme de cet âge, je suis déçu d avoir vécu CELA, elle surtout 🙁. D un étoilé par surcroît. Etre étoilé, ou non, requiert un service au minimum courtois. J ai connu beaucoup mieux chez Massimo Bottura.

Après tant d années à y aller & commander les repas des fêtes... Nous sommes en grande réflexion pour le futur.

My best friend & I went last week & enjoyed the tasting experience. I wanted to wait to write my review because I was conflicted due to the fact that food was incredible.

The chef is an absolute genius & every single item that hit our table was unique & delicious. The presentation was impeccable & well thought through. You can tell the man takes great pride in his artistry. We were both full & felt like we got our moneys worth for the food & experience. We've done a few Michelin Star tastings & left him hungry, so this was a pleasant surprise.

The conflicting part is that the service was not good at all. We were crammed in a side room & felt like it was a commercialized turn & burn from there on out. There was young gentleman we looked forward to when he dropped a dish off because he would take time to explain the dish & how to best consume it. Our primary server however would literally drop the dish off & quickly walk off with no explanation. We got to a point where even though the food was great we were just going to leave. After being disappointed about service I was also given the wrong coat upon our departure which may not have bother me as much if we didn't have the other occurrences.

I would recommend this place for the sole fact that the food was truly that good & to us outweighed the poor service.

Last thing i'll mention is that all staff spoke English very well which we appreciate & respect.

I would give this place a 3.5/5. For a Michelin star awarded restaurant, the repeat of the same sauce in many dishes were disappointing. The service is very fast & mechanical which is unfortunate. The cotton candy at the end is fun, & some dishes have unique presentation, & the food is okay.

My wife & I have eaten at hundreds of restaurants, including those under the Relais & Châteaux accreditation. These restaurants & hotels have many hoops to jump through to get this label, but I do not know if it's possible to lose it or if it needs recertification every year. This restaurant should be re- inspected as soon as possible. Our experience was not'haute cuisine,' I do not recommend wasting your money here. The service was very good, lots of dishes prepared tableside that provide a unique experience, but the food left little to be desired. (For reference, The beef carpaccio I had at Marcella in Montreal was better than any dish I had at this restaurant.) This review is not about portion size or experience, it's about food quality & flavor. A restaurant should not make mistakes when they change 350$+ per person. They also simply cannot make mistakes when they are supposed to represent Relais & Châteaux. This restaurant had a number of mistakes: Mistake #1: The dessert that was listed in the tasting menu did not exactly match what was served. If I'm supposed to have chocolate syrup, & you give me blueberry without explanation, that's a mistake. Mistake #2: The waiter forgot one of my drinks & I waited over 20 minutes, eventually having to remind them. Mistake #3: There are indeed flies flying around this restaurant, the reviews below are correct. Mistake #4: The toilet did not flush, & the hand dryer did not work. No signage posted. Mistake #5: The woman that brings you to pick your duck prize appears to be a customer service manager, but I can't confirm. When she asked how everything was going, we stated we were not thrilled about the food, & she replied "You are entitled to your own opinion, & there is nothing we can do for you." -- We were not expecting them to do anything for us, we simply gave feedback when you asked us how our meal was. Is that response part of a high quality experience? This was very unprofessional! Mistake #6: Sommelier was late with wine pairing, it was missed during the lobster cappuccino course. Mistake #7: Bringing a microwave tableside & using it as part of your dessert experience. Mistake #8: Throwing away 3/4 of a loaf of bread instead of asking us if we wanted to take it home, very wasteful. With so many other good restaurants in Montreal, this should not be on your list.

Ce fut une expérience inoubliable, tant côté culinaire que côté atmosphère, & tout à fait mémorable grâce à notre serveur - Nicolas. Un jeune homme respecteux, habile, charmant, qui a vraiment pensé à tout, & qui a illustré à la perfection le haut niveau d'excellence qui est - Europea. Bravo à tous & mes admirations sincères pour le soin & le travail du chef, & sa façon unique de transformer la nourriture en art. Mille mercis!

Top-notch French restaurant in the heart of Montreal! If you're looking for a special experience, Europea consistently delights with some of the best food & wine in the world. The best ingredients available turned into art for the eyes & taste buds combined with great service is what drives me to come back. Some of the menu highlights included fresh mint tea, onion soup served in an onion, lobster cappuccino, & more paired with phenomenal wines; also, eye watering variety of desserts - my personal choice for best dessert was the maple cotton candy. The highlight of the wine pairing was a mistery wine served in black glass. It was of course outstanding in flavor but also unique in appearance.

1st & foremost, the greeting, kind staff, not afraid to use wit & humor, was willing to accommodate english speaking guests. The service was immaculate(timing between services). I'm not pushy on drinks, which I have to recommend all their cocktails looked amazing. As for the food, it stands for its reputation, unique, delicious, & love the concept for when we went. It is truly worth going it is an experience worth doing. The food presentation was next to none.

Jerome Ferrer offre le meilleur spectacle (culinaire) en ville. Son assiette est précise & delicieuse, son équipe est rodée, professionnelle & chaleureuse mais ses atouts clefs demeurent à la fois sa créativité & sa générosité. Vous en aurez pour votre argent & plus. Tout est dans les détails, de l'angle de la superbe coutellerie qui change sur chaque service jusqu'au moindre détail de chaque présentation de plat.
