Hang was absolutely incredible! The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between relaxed, upscale, & sophisticated. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, & full of thoughtful touches - & the broth is truly to die for. Mass was so welcoming & kind, which made the whole experience even better. Don't miss out on this gem!

I came with Mass & I had a blast!!! I love this place. Beautiful aesthetic & great vibes. You can take beautiful pics of the establishment & the food taste delicious. 100% recommend.
A hidden gem in the heart of the city!
I had an amazing time at Hang Bar - the food was delicious, full of flavor & beautifully presented. The service was attentive & friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. Mass was very kind to us. The atmosphere was cozy yet vibrant - perfect for a night out with friends or a date night. Everything was spot-on. Highly recommend!

The decor inside is absolutely beautiful. We asked to be seated on the terrasse because it was a nice evening. The hostess told us there would be no music outside but opted to sit there anyway.
The terrasse was not only lacking music but lacked decor & people too. We were surrounded by plastic tables & plants.
The food was excellent. The service so so. We weren't asked if we wanted another drink after our first round was done.
The entire place was dead on a Thursday evening. I would not return due to the lack of ambiance.
I went during'Happening Gourmand' & was able to try a 3 course meal. I was so happy they were on the list because I've been very eager to go. Honestly, the dishes were okay but the drinks won me ever! So did the bartender! The drinks were so beautiful & delicious. It's definitely a place I'll stop by for drinks but that's all.
So this is a beautiful restaurant. I love the decor & a wonderful atmosphere. Unfortunately the food wasn't the best. I was pretty disappointed. I had extremely high hopes. The rainbow salad what really caught my eye so I was excited to try it, unfortunately it was more pomelo than the other ingredients that was mentioned in the salad. I ordered the salmon tartare ; it was fresh & cold which is perfect but I had a lot of liquid coming out of the tartare which started to taste more like vinegar & the actual salmon itself. Unfortunately I will not come back to this restaurant :(
One visit was all it takes, Hang has now become one of my favorite restaurants. After being turned away by another restaurant because they didn't take walk-ins, I decided to try this place where I have heard so much about. Hang has a very welcoming (we didn't even have reservation yet they still greeted us & treated us like queens), cozy ambience paired with very beautiful & modern decorations. The service by everyone was exceptional, it felt very personalized & the food was simply delicious. Although it is on the pricier side, it is 100% worth it, because who wouldn't want to enjoy excellent food & cocktails + great music from time to time? Thank you so much for the experience & I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful place & delicious food, great service. I would definitely come back, maybe at night so I could see more of the atmosphere. I ordered the Thai raw beef salad & it was amazing! The street was closed so keep in mind that is in the middle of Montreal so it's a mess.
I have mixed feelings about this upscale Vietnamese restaurant. We were so excited to try this new Instagrammable restaurant. The first thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the host: she was unfriendly & to be honest, even rude. Not sure if it was a bad day for her, but I believe the professional attitude (especially when you're the first that customers see when they come in) is at least to pretend to be nice. The highlight of this place is the cocktails. They are well balanced, original & delicious. The food was not holistically good. What I mean by that is that the ingredients were quality & fresh, but the sauce & the balance were not to the point, always missing the mark. For example, it was either too salty from too much sauce or one dish even felt like they used sweet chili sauce from the jar. We were a big group, so was limited in time for 2 hours. The waiter was super nice & friendly, but we had to leave at the 2-hour mark, although no one was waiting for our seats. This is a place you go once for the experience, but will not earn my money again. What they did well: - Drinks - It's beautiful, although it does like better on IG - the waiter we had was very friendly & polite Rooms for improvements: - definitely replacing the host we got (1/26/24 at 6pm) for someone more suitable to greet people - the dishes ! Great ideas & concepts, but execution is not there yet on all the dishes
Beautiful decor & ambiance. Thoughtfully crafted menu that does a quirky but artful job blending traditional Vietnamese flavors with a Francophone twist. Great place to wow your date. & the broth is NOT optional - you won't regret it.
Beautiful birthday dinner with loved ones. Had a great first experience & would definitely go back again. The service was exceptional & the staff paid attention to detail & made sure we were taken care of
Food was delish it didn't lose the essence of Vietnam. Staff were pros, amazing cocktails at the bar, I ordered a beef marrow that had no marrow, told the waitress it was terrible due to the fact, she brought me another that was too my satisfaction. Atmosphere was beautiful, nice house music on that Saturday evening. Well worth the spend. Will come again.
