Review Summary

Fondue Haidilao is widely celebrated for offering a top-tier hot pot experience in Montreal, characterized by consistently fresh ingredients, flavorful broth options, and an interactive dining atmosphere. Many patrons praise the restaurant for its exceptional level of service, noting that staff members are attentive, helpful, and frequently go above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit, particularly for special occasions like birthdays. While some diners mention that the pricing can be on the higher side and wait times for tables or orders can occasionally be long during peak hours, the majority find the unique entertainment, such as the noodle dance and Sichuan opera, along with the clean facilities and friendly environment, to be well worth the cost. Overall, the restaurant is frequently recommended as a must-visit destination for those looking to enjoy a fun, high-quality, and authentic hot pot meal with friends or family.

I had a lovely time! This location was very accommodating of English speakers, as well as French. I was dining alone, so my server offered me a meal with their mascot! Very kind & funny of them-absolutely recommend this location!

We ate previously at the location in Toronto. The food is just as delicious here.

The location opens at 11:00am. However, as we walked by, we were able to make a reservation for the same day at 10:45am. We didn't think they were open yet, but the gentleman in the lobby came out to invite us to eat when he saw us outside looking inside.

This is your usual Haidilao. Many celebrations so maybe songs & singing from the staff.

The table next to us ordered the hand pulled noodle so we were able to watch the guys dance with the noodle & stretched out the dough with a dance routine.

After we finished eating, we were given a loot bag to take back home to Toronto.

The staff are extremely happy & friendly. My 8 year old daughter was given a phone stand to use when she propped up a phone against a glass of water. When my daughter dropped a chopstick, the guy attending our table immediately picked up the dropped chopstick & handed her a new pair.

If we ever come back to Montreal, we will definitely eat here again.
