Originally from Sichuan, China, in 1994, Haidilao Hot Pot is the largest direct-managed Chinese hot pot brand in China and a globally recognized Chinese restaurant chain, with the total number of customer visits now exceeding 1 billion.
Reviews describe Haidilao as an exceptional, lively hot pot experience with fresh ingredients, flavorful broths, and a wide sauce bar, set in a fun atmosphere with noodle dances and birthday moments. The service is consistently praised for attentiveness, friendliness, and going above and beyond to help guests, creating a welcoming, engaging vibe. Reservations are often recommended due to crowds, and some visits note brief delays or cold seating during peak times, but most reviewers feel the value and generosity of portions justify the price, and many say they would return with family or friends for another memorable meal.
Delicious, Clean, Good service.
It's a little bit expensive though, we enjoyed eating here.
We don't know well about chinese hot pot, so it was a little bit difficult to make own sauce. I want to find my favorite sauce.

My husband & I had an amazing time at this restaurant! Food was great, the service was amazing, & thanks Oliver for making our experience even more memorable. Will definitely be going back!
had an amazing dinner at Haidilao this past Sunday night with some friends, & I can't recommend it enough. From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. We were lucky to have Ghali as our server, & he truly made the experience exceptional.
Ghali was incredibly helpful, attentive, & kind he gave us great recommendations (everything he suggested was absolutely delicious), made sure we had everything we needed at all times, & even informed us about the available discounts. He answered all our questions with a smile & made us feel genuinely welcomed & cared for throughout the meal.
As for the food absolutely delicious, Fresh ingredients, rich flavors, & so many options to choose from & the sauce bar a huge necesity to anyone planning a visiste there.
A big thank you to the team for such a wonderful evening. I'll definitely be coming back soon.

I had a lovely time! This location was very accommodating of English speakers, as well as French. I was dining alone, so my server offered me a meal with their mascot! Very kind & funny of them-absolutely recommend this location!
Warm & Friendly**: Thank Zhi Jun.Her bright smile & cheerful attitude made us feel so welcome! She patiently explained the menu & even recommended the perfect spice level for our hot pot.

We ate previously at the location in Toronto. The food is just as delicious here.
The location opens at 11:00am. However, as we walked by, we were able to make a reservation for the same day at 10:45am. We didn't think they were open yet, but the gentleman in the lobby came out to invite us to eat when he saw us outside looking inside.
This is your usual Haidilao. Many celebrations so maybe songs & singing from the staff.
The table next to us ordered the hand pulled noodle so we were able to watch the guys dance with the noodle & stretched out the dough with a dance routine.
After we finished eating, we were given a loot bag to take back home to Toronto.
The staff are extremely happy & friendly. My 8 year old daughter was given a phone stand to use when she propped up a phone against a glass of water. When my daughter dropped a chopstick, the guy attending our table immediately picked up the dropped chopstick & handed her a new pair.
If we ever come back to Montreal, we will definitely eat here again.
