Had a wonderful lunch at Milos on park avenue to celebrate a friend's birthday 🎉🥂
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful & the whole experience felt relaxed from start to finish. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing, & we never felt rushed.
We were welcomed with delicious fresh bread served with olive oil & fresh oregano prepared tableside, that was a really nice touch
We all enjoyed the $49 lunch special, which was fantastic value. I paired mine with a really nice glass of rose wine.
I started with the tomato salad with vine ripened tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions & feta. Everything was incredibly fresh & full of flavour. For my main, I had the grilled Dorade Royal with steamed broccoli, perfectly cooked & delicious. For dessert, I chose the Greek yogurt martini topped with cherries, which was light, refreshing & the perfect ending to the meal.

Food & atmosphere left nothing to be questioned. The lobster was fresh & steak melt in your mouth. Only thing was our service was slow & didn't know much about the menu to help guide us!

Estiatorio Milos offers an absolutely incredible Greek dining experience right in the heart of Montreal. The seafood is exceptionally fresh, flown in daily & prepared to absolute perfection. The atmosphere is highly elegant & the waitstaff is incredibly professional.

The food here is undeniably excellent, beautifully prepared, flavorful, & consistent with the restaurant's reputation. The kitchen clearly delivers at a very high level.

That said, the pricing has gotten out of hand over the past 5 to 6 years. It feels like prices have nearly doubled, & it is getting hard to justify. Our last visit was around $500 for three people, without any drinks.

Being charged for bottled water at this price point also feels unnecessary. When you are already spending that much, it comes across as nickel & diming.

This used to be one of my favorite spots. The food is still great, but the value just is not there anymore.

Among the priciest Mediterranean Restaurants in Montreal, one is never disappointed when Great Quality Foods & A-1 Service are provided in a comfortable ambiance for many to dine at. Our Salads were sumptuous & the fried zucchini tower was a treat; mind you getting to the tzatziki center core proved to be interesting. The grilled octopus was delicious & enjoyed by all of us who just wanted a'taste'. The steaks that were ordered were grilled to perfection as were the lamb chops that were perfect. Our only issue was these dishes were served with fries instead of being accompanied by roasted potatoes or some other side. desserts were fresh & tasted homemade. The eight (8) of us we all said this was one of the best meals we have enjoyed this year.
