Crêperie Chez Suzette is described as a popular Old Montreal spot with a wide range of crepes and fondue, generous portions, and friendly, attentive service, and the atmosphere is often noted as cozy and relaxed with windows that add charm. Guests frequently call the food delicious and the staff welcoming, and many appreciate gluten free options and a menu that covers breakfast, lunch, and dessert, though some visits are marked by higher prices, occasional slow or uneven service, and a few bland or overcooked dishes. Overall, the reviews suggest a warm, crowd pleasing experience that invites return to try more items and share a fondue or a dessert crepe with family or friends.
We visited Creperie Chez Suzette this morning before leaving Montreal. I was excited to have one last crepe before leaving the city & the reviews here convinced us to visit. We were seated promptly & our server Antoine was quick to bring us menus. I ordered the Parisienne (Brie, green apple + ham) & it was delicious.
Would definitely visit again & try more things off the menu :)
I had high hopes for this spot during my Montreal trip the exterior of the restaurant was charming & inviting. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations once inside. The atmosphere felt like it was missing something, & the food left much to be desired. I ordered La Spéciale Délice & an iced latte. Although the server repeated the order back to me, I was served a hot latte instead. Not a big issue, but still a small oversight. The real disappointment was the crepe it was bland, & the scrambled eggs inside were overcooked & rubbery.
The server although very pleasant seemed quite busy & the restaurant seemed to be understaffed because of this she never came by to check on our table, which added to the lackluster experience.
Very nice spot. Food is delicious & presentation is great. Service is good overall. We enjoyed our brunch immensely!! Definitely recommend. We had'La Végé,'La Charlevoix' & Smoked Salmon Crêpes. & Split an Oreo Crêpe for dessert. Mmm
Note for drivers:
Parking is a little tricky so find a place to park instead of navigating straight here if driving.

We had the most wonderful French cuisine experience here! Just a week after our wedding, we visited this restaurant for my husband's birthday lunch during our honeymoon, & it was truly unforgettable.
We chose a course menu that included cheese fondue, beef bouillon fondue, & a dessert crêpe. The beef bouillon, after cooking all the ingredients, became so rich & flavorful...! it reminded me of a beautiful French onion soup. I even asked for some in a coffee cup to savor it! The dessert crêpe was also outstanding, with aroma of liqueur & a slice of orange adding the perfect finishing.
The food was not only top quality but the wine pairing elevated the whole experience. I'll never forget the perfect marriage of the cheese fondue & Pinot Grigio that our server recommended.
This restaurant gave us such a special memory, & we will absolutely return the next time we visit Montreal!

They were too busy & did not deliver order to my son with his wife.. we did not have time to wait. They wanted to make it right & bring food after. But they brought our food right & it is delicious, tasty & beautiful!🤩
I'm in love w Montreal the food is so great..)
Everywhere we went - coffee shop or restaurants,- service & food is a top notch!
& this place is no exception!
I went there for second time before leaving & ordered savory crepes & the taste weren't as good…
But still it's great overall.
I missed Montreal for real.
