We dropped in while wandering around looking at the Lumino displays & ordered two of the chocolate dipped cones. I had the petit Classique Noir with pistachio soft serve & the combo was delicious. The chocolate coating was much thicker than the thin shells I'm used to but I loved it. Very rich, & hard to finish the petit size so I would get the next size down next time. My wife had the Caramel Fleur de Sel with vanilla soft serve & it was a bit too sweet & she couldn't finish all of the shell. Definitely worth checking out & would be so great in the summer. Seating seemed limited inside.
The hot chocolate is amazing! After ice skating at Esplanade, nothing can be better than a hot chocolate with marshmallows haha The place is cute & almost a chocolate paradise.
Ice cream was great: I got chocolate ice cream with dulce de leche. The staff was very nice & answered my questions.
Chocolats Favoris is a delightful ice cream haven! Their artistry shines as they dip creamy treats in rich, luscious chocolates. Each bite is a blissful symphony of flavors. I'm thoroughly pleased with the indulgent experience - a must-visit for any dessert enthusiast!
The ice cream & the chocolate flavours are soooo good. Highly recommend + friendly staff!
First trip to Montreal & to Canada, & the hot chocolate here is definitely one of the highlights of my trip. If you are visiting Canada, you should come to one of their locations!!!! If you are a kind boyfriend, trying to take care of your gal, get her either the ice cream or the hot chocolate! What the other review said was the truth, the ice cream is nothing but a soft serve, but you are here for the chocolate. With a little more money you can even get a cute design. The petite size was honestly too big for two people even. But the flavor of the chocolate is simply amazing. Now I regret not buying their fondue so I can make their hot chocolate at home.
Delicious dipped ice cream cones with rich chocolate on top. I've tried the Cotton Candy & Dulche de Leche, & both are great. Definitely recommend to stop for dessert here if you're in Montreal!
Very friendly & attentive staff, place is well maintained & clean. The ice cream & chocolates taste really good! Makes for a great place to get a box of chocolate as a gift!
Chocolat Favoris is an absolute delight for anyone with a sweet tooth! Located at the Place des Arts, this spot is a gem for those craving a delectable ice cream or looking for that perfect chocolate gift. The ambiance is simply stunning & offers a unique experience that stands out. From their rich, creamy ice cream options to the variety of exquisite chocolates, the place is a haven for dessert enthusiasts. The vibrant setting at Chocolat Favoris makes it an ideal place to indulge & savor delightful treats, whether you're seeking a refreshing ice cream or selecting a special gift. I highly recommend visiting Chocolat Favoris for an extraordinary & delightful experience.
Small store & selection but still incredibly yummy. If you have never been you must try! The chocolate is amazing!!
As a fan of chocolate I wanted to try this brand to see how it ranks among my favorites. Their chocolate bars are very good & I highly recommend them. A bit pricey like Swiss & Italian chocolates.
Omgg, that was amazing! Thick perfect chocolate, raspberry sorbet with dark hazelnut chocolate was the perfect combo! If you've never had it, you HAVE to try it!
All of their vegan ice cream & sorbet options are amazing (Vegan Vanilla, Pumpkin Spice, Raspberry sorbet, Carmalized apple sorbet). Their vegan dark chocolate dip is excellent as well.
Positioned in the midst of places des festivals, this place seems to have a soft target on tourists. Very gift-shop like feel when you walk in. They have a number of offerings for the sweet-tooth, but they seem to focus on their sundae-style customized ice creams. I got mine in a cup & honestly this thing was such a pain to eat. I found myself struggling to smash through the hard chocolate shell with the weak wooden spoon & it was getting a bit messy. Ice cream was run-off-the-mill machine soft serve – nothing special. All of the toppings were super sweet & of cheap quality to preserve margins. This place will probably continue to thrive due to it’s great location & fabulous marketing, but I was just not impressed by what I ordered.
The staff are lovely, but that's about it. Very poor quality & excessively sweet; not for authentic chocolate lovers (i.e. those who believe milk is a sin). For the price point, you'd be better off with something of quality.
