The location is set in one of my favorite parts of downtown, & Chocolat Favoris is a go-to spot for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their signature chocolate-dipped soft serve ice cream, paired with a candy-factory vibe, makes the experience fun & indulgent. Personally, I always stick to the'baby' or mini sizes since the ice creams are incredibly rich. It's the perfect place to enjoy a sweet treat either before or after catching a show at Place des Arts. This spot gets popular fast, so don't be surprised if there's a lineup-especially with tourists in the summer. When that happens, the staff can seem a bit overwhelmed.
I visited Chocolat Favoris yesterday to claim my free birthday gift (just had to show my ID on my birthday), & it was a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly kind & helpful, making me feel very welcome from the moment I walked in. It would be great if the company offered a warm option for birthdays that fall during the winter months, as a cozy treat would be the perfect way to celebrate in the cold weather! I chose the maple ice cream with a chocolate hazelnut topping . It was delicious! Rich, creamy, & full of flavor, it was the perfect indulgence. I'll definitely be coming back to treat myself again soon! Highly recommend if you're in the mood for something sweet & a great experience overall.

The brownie was perfectly moist & fudgy, with a decadent chocolate flavor that wasn't overly sweet. The addition of caramel provided a delightful contrast, adding a hint of buttery sweetness that complemented the rich chocolate beautifully. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures & flavors, making it an unforgettable treat. Overall, Chocolats Favoris exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a chocolate connoisseur or simply looking for a delicious treat, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to return & try more of their incredible offerings.
We dropped in while wandering around looking at the Lumino displays & ordered two of the chocolate dipped cones. I had the petit Classique Noir with pistachio soft serve & the combo was delicious. The chocolate coating was much thicker than the thin shells I'm used to but I loved it. Very rich, & hard to finish the petit size so I would get the next size down next time. My wife had the Caramel Fleur de Sel with vanilla soft serve & it was a bit too sweet & she couldn't finish all of the shell. Definitely worth checking out & would be so great in the summer. Seating seemed limited inside.

Delicious dipped ice cream cones with rich chocolate on top. I've tried the Cotton Candy & Dulche de Leche, & both are great. Definitely recommend to stop for dessert here if you're in Montreal!

I was so happy I got to try this spot. It is so good. The plain vanilla ice cream is so tasty on its own but paired with the dark chocolate dip it is so tasty rich & delicious. The Bebe cone is perfect because it’s so rich it’s a bit hard to even finish a small.

The shop is a paradise for chocolate enthusiasts!
